This is a great product, well made and good value

I received this today (having ordered this only three days ago, which included a weekend). Well packaged as I've come to expect from items shipped direct from Amazon. This 6-way multi socket is made from durable plastic through-out. The triangular corner pieces also act as a stand, providing good clearance (about 1.5cm) beneath for trailing cables. There are cut-outs in the corner of each which would suggest it is possible to affix the unit to a desk via velcro or plastic cable ties. At their base, each have two rubberised plastic pads designed to prevent movement. I have a glass topped desk which in this instance isn't ideal. However, by applying glue dots, the unit is now securely fixed. Behind the six plug sockets, at the top, you will find a recessed area that runs the length of the unit. Though the purpose of this is unclear, this I would appear to allow you to mount this in a suspended fashion by running a bar through it. I have seen similar on a professional computer bench. It is quite possible that you could stand this vertically as the corner pieces are oversized and well balanced. However, as I haven't tested this in a real world application with all 6 sockets populated I cannot confirm how well this would work. In all, this unit appears to be designed with mounting modification in mind. The power switch is large, moving with the slightest of presses, becomes illuminated when switched to 'on'. In conclusion, this is a very good product, especially for home usage. The only improvement I could suggest would be to provide independent switches for each socket. This is the first review I have given with 5-stars as I am unable to fault it.

These units are neat and work well. The 3 metre cable is generous. The little rubber feet fell off almost immediately, but that is a very minor issue. It would be good to have some means of permanently securing them to a bench if required, but otherwise I am very satisfied. Note that in the illustration, the sockets are shown with the earth pins downwards. Mine were delivered with the earth pins upwards. The end caps are screwed on so it may be possible to remove and replace them at the opposite ends of the socket strip. The current arrangement suits me, so I have not investigated that possibility.

The best, most durable, best looking power switch extension on the market. Worth every penny.

Very happy with this item. Works well for me, although some might find the on/off appears upside down. Very neat, well engineered.
