The media could not be loaded. The DeHonest S02 camera kit came securely packed and complete for setup and installation. I mounted this wireless security camera inside my detached garage (from my house). This camera has a lot of nice features for it's low cost: camera motion/detection and sound detection with alerts option to the phone, night vision in b&w or with built-in camera lights color display, and color display in the sufficient light, very wide range of camera pan/tilt movement, wireless camera setup to Wi-Fi with no need for connecting an ethernet cable to PC, indoor or outdoor use with IP66 waterproof rating for wide range of ambient temperatures. I had to add a Wi-Fi range extender for my application because the camera was about 80' from my house wireless router and too far for securing the Wi-Fi signal; so I installed a Wi-Fi range extender between the house router and camera, and now Wi-Fi signal strength at the camera is about 60% and working good and consistent. Picture quality is very good and sharp especially if there is sufficient light or within 20' with built-in infrared. I've included one video in the dark of night inside the garage with the camera lights on and then off, one b&w photo with only the infrared, and two photos of the camera kit. I've had excellent customer service from this manufacturer on other products and expect the same for this product, and the 2-year warranty is a plus.The You Tube video for setup of the camera was very useful to supplement the Installation Instructions, and the setup was fairly easy. I obtained the Yilot App via internet download, but the QR code scan didn't work for me. I used the Vilot App on my Android phone and PC with Windows OS, and they both great and easy to use.Just a couple of minor points: 1. If you want to secure the camera to the slide-on mounting base plate, you can use a small screw like #4 x 3/4" metal screw which did not come with the kit. There is a small hole above the camera that aligns with a small hole on the mounting base plate. A pair of needle nose pliers will help hold the screw in place while screwing it in. 2. If you need to insert/remove a micro SD memory card or reset the camera, you may need needle nose pliers or tweezer because of the very small compartment where the SD card and reset button is located.Overall, I was impressed with the DeHonest S02 camera with all it's features and operation for the price.

This camera packs a big punch for the price. The camera was easy to setup and install. The app also is great. Camera has a lot of features for the price. Great image, and great night vision as well. Big range when panning, and awesome motion detection. It sends an alert to your phone when it detects something.The YouTube video for setup was very helpful. I've had it installed for about 1 week now and no issues at all. I also love that you can hear what's happening around the camera as well as talk to someone that's near it. Sound quality is great. It picks up the birds chirping and singing in the distance.The camera comes well packaged and with everything you need to get started. I will recommend buying the power extension cable, but wait till you get the camera to see if you really need it. I have plug outside and put a locking cover on the plug.Bottom line, I highly recommend this camera for both indoor and outdoor use.

Update on the camera. Well at first I loved it. However, then the issues started. The camera sends notifications to you when there is movement. Well when it’s working. I’ve had to unplug, reset and try multiple things to keep the cameras working. They always seem to mess up and are generally not working all the time. Each day is a gamble. Now for the ultimate issue. The cloud. Well to start I use SD card to avoid using the cloud and paying for it. However, now you cannot view the motion on the alerts from the camera unless you purchase the cloud. They are almost forcing you to use the cloud services which I wanted to avoid. You can view the motion by going to the time of the day and can view it, but I like a quick view of what is going on. Finally, the last issue is that they take a minute to connect when you open the app. So if someone is outside you may get your camera up (pending it’s working this time) to see them walk away. I’m very dissatisfied and will likely be changing to a new camera soon.
