Does not stain furniture and leaves a nice scent
This is an excellent product. Our pug/chihuahua mix had been rescued from a rain ditch when we adopted her. The first day we brought her home she was understandably showing signs of stress and behaviour problems, but with time, patience and love she slowly came around. One thing we still had issues with was her chewing and ripping the stuffing out of our pillows and couch cushions. A friend recommended Grannick's bitter apple no chew spray. We're very happy with the results, thanks to this spray, it has stopped her chewing and ripping our pillows and cushions. This bitter apple spray seems to have a calming effect on her. I especially like that this spray does not leave a stain, but it does have a nice pleasant scent. We started using this no chew spray everyday for a week, then used it before leaving the house and now we don't need to use it all, but it's good to have just in case. This no chew spray gives us peace of mind. I highly recommend Grannick's bitter apple no chew spray. It's a really good value for the money.

Eliminates puppy chewing and it works
My puppy was chewing on my baseboards and digging in my rock garden. I was going crazy trying to keep her away from both of them. I ordered this product because they said it would stop her from chewing that area! Boy did it ever she hates the taste. My trainer told me to squirt it in her mouth once to have her get a full effect. I just couldn’t do it, but when I sprayed it on those areas, it was like putting hot sauce on your tongue to her. She never went back. Since then, I was able to have my baseboards painted and now she’s afraid to go near them. If you wanna stop your dog from chewing on stuff, this is the thing to get.

Works well for some dogs
So we got a puppy last year, and of course he did what teething puppies do and began chewing on everything. In an attempt to try to stop it we picked up some of this bitter apple spray to try. We'd purchased it before years ago for a different puppy, and it absolutely did not work on her - she continued chewing on things as if we'd just added flavoring. Because of this experience we were skeptical if it would work on this new pup, but figured it was worth a shot. Much to our delight, he IMMEDIATELY stopped chewing on anything we sprayed with this. He is very much put off by it, and it has been a huge success. I'm giving it 4 stars because the product isn't perfect and won't work for all dogs, but it's absolutely worth trying to see if it works for yours.

Product doesn’t work for my dog.
I had high hopes for this product, and I even ordered a 2nd bottle, but I’ll have to continue my search for a spray that will keep my Doberman from chewing everything. He must be very stubborn because he will continue to chew on a sprayed item once it has dried. My other problems with this product is that some of the spray tops don’t work, and some will also leak around the top.

Yes!!
I am so impressed with this product that I have it delivered every two months in my subscribe and save order. It works on fabric as well as solid items like wood or tile. You just have to use enough! Don’t forget to shake it. Don’t be shy, get in there and soak whatever it is your dog is trying to chew up! You will never know it’s there, but your dog will!! This is a win!

Training consistently
This worked great once again, my boxers all have needed this during some point of their puppy stage, Jaxson was a quick learner like the rest, learning about no bites are no, and playing gentle is different, clearly and consistent training.

Mixed results with ~1-year-old heeler mix
I recently adopted a roughly one-year-old heeler mix, and, while extremely sweet, he has a tendency to bite feet when he wants to play. He also likes to chew plastics and textiles, among other things. This has been fairly effective when it comes to objects such as grill covers, planters, window screen, and the like. That being said, I've had very mixed results when it comes to biting feet. He clearly dislikes the taste, so it inhibits him somewhat most of the time, but it doesn't ever fully stop him. At best, he'll nibble with only his front teeth. He'll also still get kind of chompy regardless of the bitterant if something works him up enough. Impulse control is something we're working on, and I've seen improvement, but this hasn't been quite as effective as I'd like on that front.
