Acdelco gm Original Equipment 25950499 Vapor Canister Vent Valve

On my 2006 trailblazer SS AWD it's located on the front side of the rear axle by the gas tank so I didn't have to remove the spare tire but it did give me a little more room to slide in from the back. Now the gas pump doesn't keep kicking off while I'm trying to fill it up.

This part fit my 08 Trailblazer base. Took me minutes to install and it allowed me to clear the obd code for good.

Great product, great price.

Replaced gas cap first, cleared and error came back. Then replaced vent valve, cleared and error did not come back. Took 30min to change. 25 min of that was to trying to remove the U clip and remove existing valve due to rust build up. Had to reset the PCM (remove fuse 10 and 28 for 15min) as reader came back with possible error with throttle body. Anyhow, engine sounded better idling and felt smoother while driving.
