I have bought these for a couple of different trailers. They work great to mount toward the ceiling of an enclosed trailer to keep straps and all your tools organized.

Reasonably well made. May be tricky to replicate cheaper than this for a home DIYer due to price of materials in smaller quantities so this is likely the way to go. Dimensions are published so no surprises, but would be nice if they were a few inches taller.Bought one to evaluate, then bought another. Both are working well in an enclosed trailer.

Great cabinets for my snowmobile trailer. Lightweight but very sturdy. I had read Other comments about the latches not holding. If you mount with the latch on the bottom it will help. Better yet is to add hydraulic struts which will hold the doors open and out of the way when you you need access and the pressure of the strut keeps the door latch tight when it is closed. Mount the hydraulic side on the inside vertical frame 1/2 inch from the hinge, the other end Mounts on the door, about an inch from the bottom. Drill holes for all and mount with small nuts and bolts. It’s extra work but adds utility to these nice cabinets.

I used for storage in the back of my camper shell.

To be honest I expected that these would disappoint based on the high price. The latches are no good. I placed these in my race trailer with the doors opening down for ease of use. I drove 100 miles to a race and three of the four doors, I bought two cabinets, were hanging open. If they had a quality latch, I would have given these a 4 star rating.
