I ordered a XXL and probably could have went XL. However, I am wearing a headband under to keep sweat out of my eyes, so with that in mind, good fit once adjusted. I’ve had a similar hat before but this is great quality and I love the shade of blue. Nice contrast with my purple hair(currently). Will be wearing to a music festival in Florida for a little extra protection for my eyes from the sun. Just right for my needs. If you like a tighter fit, and are between sizes, go down.

Hubby loves his hat! My grandpa wore a hat similar to this one decades ago, my husband always thought it looked classy yet casual - a combination he admired. Those hats of my grandfathers are long gone so I was thrilled to have found this hat on Amazon, especially in this price range. Hubby has a smaller size head (22 1/2”) and the medium fits perfectly after a slight adjustment with the Velcro band that’s hidden inside. Brilliant! I had to take a picture before he knew what I was up to, so that explains the look of surprise 😮 Great buy, packed very well. The photo is right out of the box, just adjusted the fit and he put it on. Perfect and exactly as described. Substantial but lightweight. Highly recommend

Great look, quality materials. Provides great sun protection. Light weight. Hold shape well. A band inside has velcro adjust for perfect fit. One improvement would be to add larger velcro strips, so the band holds tighter.

My son loved the style & fit

He looked so dapper at the outside wedding we attended! My husband always wears a baseball hat but of course that wasn’t gonna fly at a wedding in a suit. He is bald so he needed something for the hot sun. A Wide brim was just too big so this was the perfect classy solution. He got lots of compliments and it did not look cheap. Nice simple quality.

The hat was perfect for the occasion (a week in Newport RI) fits great. Actually slightly big but if you run into that issue it has inserts that come with it as well as an adjustable band. Packaging was ok not great. It came very slightly misshaped but I was able to mess with it and fix it. Very happy to find this type of hat for someone with a large head lol

Excellent fit

This is only the second hat I've ordered, not just from Amazon, but in my life. (I recently decided to shave my head for some mad reason; now I look like the villain in a James Bond movie.) At any rate, the hat helps soften that image a bit. This seems to be a very well-made hat, especially at this price point. It's nice and cool for summer wear, lightweight and holds its shape well. Came well-packaged with a plastic insert to keep it from being squashed in transit. The size seems to be perfect, though I did wind up using one of the hat band spacers that were included. It looks good on and feels very comfortable, even for a long day hanging out at the beach or whatever. I'm sure I'll get a lot of use out of it.
