I bought this product not for pets but as an extra barrier for messy "adult" activities. I wanted something that would give me time to clean up any messes, that was easy to throw in the wash, and was also soft and enjoyable to lay on. This blanket has fit the bill so far. It is not waterproof exactly. More water resistant. But I honestly expected that. The water beads on top of the blanket for quite awhile so I can easily get a chance to wipe up any messy liquids that get on it. It's a small size so it's easy to throw in the washer. And it's luxuriously soft to lay on. It is also incredibly warm and would just make a nice throw blanket. Or it could make for a great cuddle/aftercare blanket for after intense adult activities. My pets also did happen to like it. My cats enjoy kneading into it with their paws and laying on it. So I suspect that it really does also work well for many pets. All around, regardless of your use of it, I think it's a great product.

We love these for our beds and sofa. Durable, easy to clean and nice feel. My dog loves them.

Really happy with this purchase! It’s always nice when you don’t have to go through that breaking-in period with these types of throw blankets, where fuzzies continually fall off and get everywhere the first week or so. That didn’t happen at all, this blanket was ready to rock! It’s a great size, also. Covers the entire bottom half of my Queen sized bed, which is exactly where my dog, Eva, loves to sleep. It’s extremely soft, even after multiple trips through the washer/dryer. I’ve fallen asleep on it myself a time or two. But most importantly, my dog loves it! She wasted no time jumping onto it the first time I placed it on the bed, and promptly made herself comfy. It usually takes her a little while to accept new blankets. I had 5-7 similar products on my list originally, and took my time looking through the product descriptions and reviews before deciding on this particular one. So glad I did! It has held up phenomenally so far. But if I ever do need to get a new one, I’ll be ordering another one of these. Well, i can vouch for its popularity with my cats, and I can vouch for its waterproof qualities. This blanket it the perfect size to cover the bottom of my queen size guest bed if turned so that the length is crosswise. Does not go all the way to the pillows, of course, but I use a scat mat to protect that area anyway. The first night it was on the bed several of the cats decided to try it out, and someone decided to make it their own by peeing on it. (Hasn’t happened again. Just a territorial dispute over a new item). I can say that I immediately found out that the blanket is water proof as the bed was not even damp and had no odor. The blanket washed nicely and came out of the dryer just like new. Since it is waterproof, there can be an issue with the layers retaining water when you remove it from the washer. You may need to reposition it and let it drain or use an additional spin cycle. Mine took a little additional time in the dryer, considering it’s smaller size, but I dried it on the low setting. Came out looking just like new and without any stain. It’s very soft and warm, and I like it was much as my cats do. Highly recommend.

Works just as it should. It's super soft and very waterproof. I have had this blanket for about a year now and it still just as nice as it was on day 1, even after being washed at least every other week for the entire year.

I would rate 3.5 stars if I could. I like the blanket for its good size and warmth. My issue is that the two sides become separated during use, because there are multiple layers to the blanket, and there are no tie knots or stitching to keep the layers together. Also, after only a few months of use, the edge stitching has come loose on a corner.

This blanket is good if you live in a snowy or wet climate. Used it all winter for my daughter's dog. Like the reversible feature....one side is velvet like the other is thicker, woolier.

Purchased this product as my cat gets frequent UTIs and pees on the furniture. I have this on my bed with the white fleecy side up as other reviews mentioned liquid puddles on the other side. I've been using for 2 months now and it has never leaked. I have washed it and dried it in the dryer multiple times and it has not shrunk. Also, it's just a soft, nice blanket. This product was a life-saver for me!

I bought two of these and they are fantastic. Wash and dry well. My only wish is that they came in a full bed size!

Great blankets. No terrible factory smell, really plush feel, good size and easy to care for. Our whippet loved them immediately and they've provided excellent protection in the aftermath of the odd instance of incontinence, where the fleece side absorbed the spillage and the felt side kept it within the blanket. They've washed well and take about 24 minutes in a tumble drier to be ready to return to furniture protection duty. Can recommend.
