To ensure its accuracy, I verified the moisture level with my hand, and it consistently matched the meter's readings. It's nice for my deeper raised gardens to reach to depths that my hand can't. Sometimes the soil would be dry on the top layer but plenty watered a little deeper. Helps avoid getting root rot or things like that. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this purchase. It’s a reliable, affordable tool for any gardener looking to maintain optimal soil moisture levels.
