Vitamin C is such an important and crucial vitamin that our bodies can not make. I take it, not just when I am sick, but for maintenance also. If I feel I am fighting something, I take an extra dose. If I come down full sick with something, I really amp up the dose and it shortens the length of the sickness. I have used it for constipation, as a food preservative, to mix in with my face lotion, and to counteract kidney stones. The powder allows me to customize how much I want or need. I like the flavor it adds to water, and I find it very digestible and easy to absorb. The last bag that I bought lasted so long that I never got to finish it all before it was time to replace it. So the value for the money is very good. It only takes a pinch added to your water.

I have colored hair. It was bleached, then dyed blue. Since then it has had black on top and other colors on top of that. I was wanting to get rid of some hair color so the colors would show up more vibrantly and didn't want to use a product with bleach to further damage my hair. I have read that mixing powdered Vitamin C and dandruff shampoo helps lift color. I only left the combo in my hair for 15 minutes instead of the recommended 1-2 hours. My hair is lighter than it was before and after a few more washes where I will leave it on longer, I have no doubt most, if not all, of the color will be gone. But the part that really amazes me is it has left my hair feeling so much softer than it ever has before. I know this isn't the use most people will be buying this product for but wanted to leave a review in case anyone else was trying to get rid of semi permanent hair dye. Black is not the easiest to remove without furthering the damage and this definitely helps if you don't need it gone in one go.

My second purchase of the brand, highly recommended! Many similar products cost more and have too many additives or don't dissolve as well.

I am trying to eliminate the additives like magnesium stearate and silica in the vitamins I take. I take quite a few and the additives add up quickly. This is the last one I am replacing, as the one I've taken for years, although a decent company, does contain magnesium stearate. I was most concerned with dissolubility, taste, and effectiveness. Well, it dissolves very easily in room temp water (I put a tsp of powder into a glass of water), and it tastes citrusy and quite good. I just started to use, so cannot just its effectiveness, yet. I've been taking 4-5 grams of C daily for about 40 years (along with other supplements) and I am rarely sick. I'm hoping this works well so I can continue to use. I'll update its effectiveness after I have been using it at length.

This product is very effective. We have had success with it multiple times, reversing a virus at the onset of symptoms before it progressed. We have been keeping this on hand. Also, now that I’ve had the baby, I take it as a preventative measure to add a boost to my immune system, as well as the baby’s (the baby gets it through breastmilk). Very happy with it. Because it’s pure vitamin C and not tainted with flavorings, it is bitter—but it’s SUPPOSED to be. If you want to compromise the quality and potency of the Vitamin C, head to your local Walmart and pick something orange flavored (you will NOT get quality vitamin C). That said, I mix this in raw, organic honey, and spoon it to my kids. They have no problem with it. It’s how I take it, too. :) Husband dissolves it in a small cup of water and downs it like a shot, lol.
