The product was made in China, which raises some challenges in terms of quality enforceability but to be honest, in terms of the MAKE and DESIGN of the belt, it really is superb. For the price, this is beautiful craftsmanship. The material however is less one star for the product misrepresentation: I don't believe that this is leather at all but it is a good imitation. For the price, I had my suspicions and really- you get what you pay for so I wasn't too surprised. It certainly looks the part and even smells like real leather but as you can see from some of the negative reviews, it won't stand the test of time the way that real leather would. As I said- for the price, I made my peace with the risk. Nevertheless, false advertising is really not OK- I would still have bought this, if it was accurately described because for this price point, it is still a good product.Only quibble with the construction is that it is too big for me and there is no way to shorten a belt like this without ruining the beautiful design. I'm going to have to gift it to someone I know who it will fit.

I had been buying similar woven belts from Nordstrom in the US for several years for ~ $70. They generally last for roughly a year and would begin to come apart (frequently used). I have been amazed at the quality of these belts for a fraction of the price. I wear them on most days with no issues whatsoever. Recommend!

A superb belt, very stylish, looks and feels like it would cost much more than it did. I had already bought the same design in brown, so now with the black one I'm ready for anything!Shame about the packaging though.... someone forgot to fold in one end and the product could easily have fallen out.I'm sure that wouldn't happen very often though - perhaps they were very busy!

Lovely belt, fits well and goes great with a pair of chinos

The fit was as expected, there are an almost infinite number of holes for size, handy if your jeans have different waist heights. The leather is quite thick but flexible. This is the second of these belts i have owned the first being a gift from my son.

Smelled like old trash into which something toxic had crawled to die. Claims to be made of leather but I can only assume that by 'leather' they mean grade A plastic. The end of the woven parts where it meets the buckle was held together with sellotape.
