Update::::This bento box was all smoke and mirrors. A week after using it daily my daughter had trouble closing it and the little blue tray falls right out mind you I’ve never put it into a dishwashers I always hand wash but yet & still it had to be replaced.I absolutely love this bento box and my daughter loves it too. It arrived on time before her first day of pre-k we are so excited to try this item out. It has exceeded my expectations in every way. I love it’s durability and the fact it holds everything separately and it is leak proof it fits perfectly inside of her lunch box. I highly recommend this product for your child. Will buy again & again!

The media could not be loaded.  I finally found a great leak proof kids lunch box without paying bentgo prices! The lunch container holds a decent amount of food for my 4 and 2 year old and I am able to put sauces or liquid in the compartments without worrying about mixing or leaking into the other food or out of the container. This truly was a life saver! My only complaint is the box is a little awkward to open and close due to the latches freely moving about and not really having a good place to grip or grab to open it. You have to be careful your little one does not crush the latches when trying to close it. Otherwise an outstanding product for the price. I did a water test in the video I provided and as you can see there was no leakage.

My daughter had to get this once she saw the mermaid kitties! It's very nice and sturdy. Food stays secure inside, no leaking at all. Easy to take apart to clean and wash. I thought it's a bit difficult to open and close because it closes tightly. You have to use 2 hands to really use some muscle since it's tight. Not like you can unlatch and lift. It has enough compartment for food items, but whenever I pack sandwiches it's hard to fit them in nicely. Overall, it does it's job and my 6 year old daughter uses it daily without complains.

My 4.5 year old has a hard time opening it and has to ask for help at school. He doesn’t like that. Other than that it’s great. For an older kid it would be perfect.

I've been searching for one of these boxes with large enough food portions for my autistic daughter. She is a grazer and has a lot of food sensitivity and texture issues. She also like her food separated. I was going with the clear top one and she saw this one and really wanted it. (Purple unicorn) the portion sizes are good, and will fit in her new lunch box that came with her backpack. When it 1st came (before it was all hand washed), it was easy to open and close, except the latches to kept falling in the way. After hand washing the entire thing and letting it dry (water gets stuck in the latch pcs front and back and may cause mold so watch out for that) the stupid thing will NOT close right. It is so tight that it is very hard for me to close. This morning she was practicing open and closing it and she was getting very frustrated with it. I'm thinking about returning it & trying a bentgo box instead. I didn't want to pay $30 and this seemed like a good alternative. It has the portion sizes we wanted and it's cute. But what is the point if the kids can't close it? It's a shame, bc it is sturdy, cute, and affordable.

These boxes are easy to open and close for my preschool and kindergarten age girls. It's so great to be able to put different foods into the same container instead of all the little baggies and containers that take time to open and then little hands can't seal back up if they don't eat everything. No more messes of crumbs and sticky stuff coming home all over the inside of their lunch bag. Since the teachers at school have so many kids and only 20 minutes for lunch, it's great knowing that my girl can be self sufficient to get her food out and just eat, and not wait for someone to help her.Boxes are easy to clean, we hand wash, and it's a really quick to wash after school and then the box is dry and ready to load back up for the next day in the evening after dinner. The bonus ebook for lunch ideas is also very helpful. Having different ideas keeps lunches fun and appealing to kids.I ordered two different boxes and there was an issue with the packaging on one that caused the wrong design to be sent from Amazon (item mislabeling error). When I reached out to Kinsho to ask how I could go about ordering the design that I wanted, they were super prompt to reply by email and went above and beyond to send me the box I wanted directly at their cost. It just arrived with a handwritten note and they also sent an insulated bag as a gift. The best customer service I've ever received!Highly recommend this product for ease of use for both parents and littles. The excellent customer service makes me feel confident that they'd make it right if there was any issues with the function of the box, but I don't expect that will ever be the case.

Super cute box. But the alignment was off, and it was so hard for me to close, and impossible for my kindergartener. We have others like this, that didn’t have the issue. So it might’ve just been a bad one.

This lunch kit is so hard to close. My daughter is 4 and she struggles with it. Huge disappointment as she is off to kindergarten this year and we bought it so she can open and close alone and only worry about one “container” and there’s no way it’ll come home closed unless she gets help from a teacher.

I love the bento boxes for lunches makes everything so much simpler and they are easy to open

I bought it for a 3yo and it is difficult for the kid to close the lid and lock the latches completely. Otherwise it is a very good, pretty and functional bento box for small children.
