Will this fit over the GPS module

Depends on how big it is. I have one and it has a decent amount of room under it. I'd say if you stay below the shock towers, you should be fine. I do recommend gluing down the Velcro. I used hot glue gun. Hasn't peeled up once and I s*ck at cleaning my Xmaxx.
