My favourite brand of nasal rinse salts
Tried many other brands of salts, Xlear seem to work best for me.

Comfortable and effective
My favorite remedy for any kind of nose/sinus trouble is a saline rinse. When that wasn't available, sometimes chewing xylitol gum helped with the sinuses. So this is the magic combo. As a bonus, it leaves my mucous membranes feeling more normal than rinsing them with just saline does. Dissolving one of these packets can take a bit of extra swirling, compared to a plain salt/bicarbonate solution. I use a clear neti bottle with a valve, from Waterpulse, which I'm also very pleased with, and which makes it easy to see if it's all dissolved or not. Just as routine safety reminders, keep all xylitol scrupulously away from dogs, and use distilled water for this.

Very effective.
This was recommended by my ENT surgeon and has made a difference. I was using Nealmed sinus rinse but X-clear has helped to prevent 'crusting' forming, due to the Xylitol content in the rinse solution, which Nealmed wasn't doing.

Team Xlear!!! More effective than every saline spray tried
The xylitol (basically sugar, for those unfamiliar) makes it more effective than saline, and that effectiveness was immediate on the first experience. No saline spray has been like that. A friend got a bottle and was also impressed with the drainage it prompted. I got him on it because he has frequent nosebleeds, and I personally find saline to be more drying than hydrating, from when I had my own nosebleed days. The grapefruit seed extract in it burns slightly sometimes when there's dryness, but the spray itself isn't drying. The pump is truly a MIST of wide coverage. The cap pops on and off (doesn't screw) and it somehow - also impressively - manages to stay on completely. Doesn't even weaken or loosen with frequent popping on and off. The bottle appears to be shatterproof and also doesn't leak. I feel very safe with this holding receptacle among other contents in bags. Angling of bottle tip and head positioning does matter. Tip in towards middle of nose for sinuses; tipped out towards ears for eustachian tubes. Your head is apparently also supposed to be face-down to to the ground, with the bottle held completely vertical. That last part, jury's out on but tip angling is all true. When the liquid gets too low for the tube and begins asking for pump battles, I save it and add it to another bottle. Especially when it only needs one pump's worth for effectiveness, unlike other sprays... Yep, no waste of goodness! Fyi, I also use the Xlear packets for Neti pot sinus rinses and it also works awesomely. It doesn't have the seed extract, but does have baking soda in it. Also worth checking out. Additionally have the red MAX congestion spray, with the capsicum, aloe vera, and grapefruit seed extract in it. I haven't needed to pull out the heavy artillery beyond trying it once so I can't comment on its effectiveness when sickly yet. However, this company appears to be of quality products so I have no doubt MAX also would be effective in its task, as the rest of their products are. I'm Team Xlear over here... can you tell? LOL
