Ho comprato questo copriwater perché le cerniere del mio si rompevano facilmente per colpa dello slittamento della tavoletta. Ho notato il diverso attacco di questa Croydex e non mi ha deluso. Il montaggio non è stato molto facile (si possono scegliere due modi per montarlo), ma una volta montato, è davvero uno spettacolo per gli occhi. Bit fiddly to install, I did not know about the seat release button in the middle of the hinge assembly until after the install, that would have made my life easier. They could do a better job of highlighting that in the instructions. Also good to know that I can adjust the self close mechanism if necessary by removing the side covers and adjusting a nut, I learnt that form these reviews too. Overall this a high quality product and it's worth spending a bit of time on the install to get it right.

The instructions are very straightforward - on a single sheet A4 sheet with large diagrams and clear text in plain English. There is also an installation video. Just two bolts to tighten with the provided key style spanner. There is even a fitting 'gauge' that helps with spacing and is removed before final fit. The whole process took 10 minutes. I simply cannot imagine what the other "60+ minutes reviewers" were doing ! The resulting fit is extremely secure, and the seat and lid are removed with a single button press. Ingenious design and very well engineered.

I am very pleased with this seat - it looks good, is comfortable, and was very easily fitted (contrary to some of the reviewers I found the instructions easy to follow, and the whole process very simple). There is the very slightest “wobble”, but this is due to the attachment-detachment mechanism (which is very good, btw, and certainly makes cleaning easier), but the seat doesn’t feel unstable. The closure speed is okay - although I’m sure over time it’ll need tightening.
