SP4124 Desert Plants Diorama Kit

This kit has a very nice variety of desert bushes/shrubs and cactus. I like how the shrubs/bushes look realistic especially when you add the yellow and red powder to them. The glue that came with the set was surprisingly strong and it dried nice and clear. I was worried it wouldn't be strong enough to keep the rocks in place and the cactus standing, but it was. The only downside is that the powder is really messy so you might want to put newspaper or something underneath when applying.

My son is in the 1st grade and he had to do a project on kangaroos and their environment. I searched and searched and couldn't find anything. And then this amazing product popped up on my screen it was exactly what we needed to get a 100 on his project. Just be aware that it does not come with a platform so you have to be creative or just purchase one. For example we just used a small box and colored it to look like sand. The kangaroos was bought separately and it matched perfectly with this product. Not to mention how simple the instructions are. AMAZON WE LOVE YOOUUUUUU😍😍

Doesn’t include sand, which I didn’t look carefully enough. Cacti are very simple looking, and hot glue gun or super glue is better to stick them onto the small bases they come with, otherwise the glue included takes too long to dry. I was pleased to find that the glue that came with it dried clear so you can’t see it through the scrub brush. Was pleased with the “flowers” and scrub brush look and even the grass turned out great. Diarama for my daughters 4th grade project complete!

What you paying, you getting

Perfect for my 3rd grade son’s diorama of the desert. Came with all the elements we needed to create the environment. Purchased desert animal figurines from the craft store and it was a hit. Lots of sand and materials left over. We didn’t want we the entire pack. Also didn’t use the glue from the pack for the sand. I mixed Elmer’s school glue and water to make a liquid base for the sand to cover more area, quicker.

My son had a school project and I was hoping this would help set the background up to complete. When it arrived it was very small, tiny, and I was disappointed in the size. Won’t work for class projects but definitely for a hobby project.

Did not include sand or base, description did not clearly state what was/was not included. Additionally the product glue was dried and not usable.

The kit was smaller that I expected but worked well for a school project and we enjoyed putting it together. We poked holes in the cardboard to stick the little plastic pieces in place.

Poor product. No base. Rip off
