警官でありながら裏稼業として悪人を始末する殺し屋という設定。もちろん非現実的な筋立てなので首をかしげるような部分も出てきますが私好みのスピード感あるストーリー展開で楽しめます。英語はどちらかというとスラングも少なく比較的読みやすいと感じます。

After reading 'The payback' at first (3rd book) it ist quite cool to get to know the pre-story of Dennis Milne.Sometimes 'the business of dying' ist quite harsh & brutal; however, you still get hooked on easily ;)

A different police thriller

This book was second hand and described as being in a very good condition when it was bashed on all four corners of this hard-back edition. Also all the pages were dingy. Good/fair condition would have been more appropriate.An excellent read nonetheless.

Different angle to a police procedural.Fast paced and unexpected. And not always liking or admiring the principal character. Great read!
