APEC Water Tank-4, 4 Gallon Pre-Pressurized Water Storage Tank

I bought this to replace the stock tank for my RO system from GE. The old tank was barely putting out two cups of water at a time. However, the stock replacement was going to be around $150, so I was looking for a cheaper option.Since this tank is carried by the same store that I bought the RO system from, and they have it labeled as an "industry standard" in terms of pressure settings, I decided to give it a try. And so far, it works great! Much better pressure, and I get a lot more water out of the system at a time. Notably too, the water tastes better! Maybe because it's not mixing with old, stagnant water that can't be expelled.Super easy to install! Bought a shut off valve fitting to connect the tank to the plastic line of my system, and managed to connect it easily. Be sure to use plumbers tape on the fitting. I also used an O-ring for good measure. So far, no issues with leaking, as other people are reporting in their reviews.

Nice unit. Looks identical to the one I replaced on my original RO system. Original tank lasted 24 years! Replaced it due to a leaking internal bladder. This one fixed the problem - back to good water pressure.

Great APEC tank for my Reverse Osmosis kitchen faucet filter. I've installed & used APEC Reverse Osmosis water systems for decades in my houses through the years and installed them for family members and friends. I've had this 4 gallon tank in my APEC RO system, for 10 years in my present house. I recently found that I wasn't able to dispense more than half a gallon of filtered water at a time. Replacing this 4 gallon water tank (about a 19 minute job) restored my RO system's pressure and water flow back to gallons and gallons whenever needed. This tank is a bargain at a little more than $40 - I didn't have to replace my RO system to restore full filter flow. I recommend APEC water filter systems - excellent quality, a good value and great customer service!
