Gorgeous and amazing paper sculpture
These laser cut paper sculptures are popping up just in time for the holidays in lots of different styles, some (like this one) light up too.They're usually listed as memo pads, desk calendars (some have calendar pages inside) or sticky notes, but they're not any of those things.They're gorgeously detailed paper sculptures you gradually reveal by tearing off the perforated pages one at a time. The torn off pages are too small for notes and none of the pages seemed to have a sticky edge.You carefully tear the pages out horizontally --- don't lift up, it will bend the sculpture --- and except for the top couple of sheets they pop right out easily. When all the pages are removed the full sculpture is visible, and you can pop it back into the provided acrylic case to use as a pen holder.My only complaint is that the light switch isn't accessible when the sculpture is in the case. Still, it's so beautiful and the gradual reveal is so cool, I can't knock a star off for that.Great gift for fans of art, fantasy books and movies, or anyone who loves an unusual desk toy.

Great gift for a Harry Potter fan
Great gift ideas for an adult Harry Potter fan. I say adult, 1) b/c adults use notepads more than kids,v2) more importantly, adults tend to have a little more will power than children. I think the anticipation of getting to the end might get lost on a kid. I can see them ripping out all the pages, just to get to the end product, lol.The lights are a neat feature. So fun!

The title of the purchase is: Magic Castle with light. Nowhere did it say its Harry Potter themed
As the title says, this has absolutely no indication anywhere it is a fully Harry Potter themed gift. It has Harry Potter on the cover, and all over it. But not one ounce of that is in the description anywhere. Why is this a problem? Because I was buying this for an older customer as a gift, and I figured a nice looking castle with a light would be great. So now I make a return which is unfortunate because otherwise this looked nice.

I was going to leave a slightly negative review at first because I thought the protection container was written on but then decided to try, and it was a sticker! There’s one on the back too- just in case anyone else sees this. I’ve been wanting one for ages! I haven’t pulled all the paper yet so I don’t have a picture of the castle at this time
