Q: Can we use them to store raw chana, daal and rice for months in kitchen shelves?

I would say they are not the best for this purpose, although you can store the foodgrains in it if it's not supposed to be handled frequently. The material is thin and the zippers are not suitable for everyday use. I used these bags for packing certain food items in luggage during travel, and for that purpose they are ok.
