UPDATE: Found the batteries on Amazon, had to search for the battery itself. Could not find them under the device. Battery: Jameco ReliaPro Lithium Ion Polymer Battery 3.7V 500mAh Rechargeable, $6.74. UPDATE: Units are now 23 months old and the batteries will not hold a charge. The battery appears to be replaceable, but I cannot find anywhere to purchase one. Even tried Chtoocy.com. Tried a search and got no results. UPDATE: In my original review I mentioned that the belt clip was useless due to it's not coming in contact with the device. I solved that problem by removing the belt clip from the device, boiling some water and letting the clip sit in the hot water for a couple of minutes which softened the plastic allowing me to bend the clip so that it now comes in contact with the case (see attached photos). Now the unit stays securely on my belt. ****************************************** ORIGINAL REVIEW: Works as advertised. Works throughout house through walls and floors; can carry it anywhere, even outside, and it will ring when my wife pushes the call button. Very satisfied with performance. The volume is adjustable to be very loud that can be heard from several rooms away from receiver. I like the idea that there can be several transmitters used meaning they can be distributed throughout the house when my wife forgets to take the transmitter with her; the receiver lets me know which transmitter was pressed providing where she is. Only con is that the "belt clip" does not lay flat to the unit, there is a gap between the clip and body of receiver that makes the clip useless (see image). Highly recommend for those who are caregivers and need a way to let "patient" call caregiver as needed.

This item has been excellent for my use-case. I had no issues setting it up - be sure to charge all components before starting. Note that this 4-pack (two transmission, two receiver) only comes with two chargers, so you have to do them in batches. I did not have to pair my devices, so I can't speak to the pairing process if you buy more as add-ons to your set. Set-up and usage were easy and reliable. The batteries don't last forever, but they will last a while, at least a couple weeks at a time in my experience (probably less if the alert is used more often). This seemed like the only product I could find of this exact functionality, and I was worried that the quality or performance would be poor, but it worked out very well.

I purchased these so that my wife could page me while I am out in the yard working. Haven't tested them at the full 1000 ft. range, but did at about 300+ feet and with 4 walls, with the outside one being brick, and it worked fine. Just fyi. The charge on the receiver only lasts about 2 weeks, but the red warning light on it will let you know it needs recharging. Just plug it in, the light turns blue, and once it goes green, it's recharged. Don't know why the manufacturer is still using a barrel plug on the recharging wire, though. Almost everyone else has gone to usb type c. 08/25/2024 update. Well, these worked well right up until they didn't any longer. The batteries barely last a few hours now, so I never really know when the pagers will quit working. As a result, I have ordered replacement batteries as I really need thes to be working when I am outside in the yard and my wife needs assistance (mobility issues). Consequently, I have removed one star from my original rating.

As I searched for the solution to my need for a caregiver pager system, I was about to give up getting just what I wanted until I found this one. It is perfect. It has excellent range, it has a receiver unit that goes where I go around our house and property. It is easy to use. It is just the right size. It has rechargeable batteries with good recharge time and long life. It seems to be extremely reasonable in price. And I got it the day after I ordered it. I rarely find exactly what I would like to have in any purchase. This unit has it all! Thank you for anticipating my needs.

I purchased two units and neither of them worked. The first unit arrived but it was not partially charged as indicated. After charging all three items nothing worked. When you turned the unit the lights did not go through the numbers, and the ring tone and volume buttons did not make a peep. It just didn't respond to any of the buttons being pressed. So I returned it thinking there was just something wrong with that specific unit. I decided to give it another chance and purchased a second unit. But same thing, NOTHING happened after it was charged. I mean nothing. No matter what button I pushed nothing happened again (i.e., no lights, no ring tone, not noise) so I returned that one as well. I had tried to locate a US customer support number but I didn't locate one. I couldn't figure out how to reach a live person to troubleshoot via a toll free number. I was able to locate an international number on their facebook page but it just wasn’t worth the hassle at that point. I was really hoping this item would work as described, but that wasn't my experience.

After trying other brands and compared to them this brand had the strongest signal range. Panic buttons reached to the receiver over a 300' range through several buildings...meaning, the receiver was in one house and the panic button was in another house 100' away. The 300' test came from a heavily foil insulated, completely enclosed, tin covered pole barn; that one really surprised us! Unfortunately, after a few months the receiver would alarm, flashing all buttons at once, randomly about once a week. Made for some uneasy nights rushing down to see if everyone was OK only to find them, thankfully, doing just fine and nowhere near the panic buttons. Tried resseting and repairing (connecting) all devices, but no fix. Contacted the company, Chtoocy, with the details of use and problems and they didn't hesitate an instant, they sent an new receiver, which came very quickly. It operated perfectly right out of the box and we're back in business :) Very happy with both the product and customer service!

We bought these for my 90 year old mother who has moved into our basement apartment. She cannot see or hear well, and she has had trouble with the lanyards that contact caregiver or 911 through the phone line. Chtoocy Pagers have been the answer to our problems! I first bought one complete set (1 receiver, 2 pagers). I have since ordered another full set and two extra pagers. We have one next to her shower, one in the bedroom, one in her kitchen, one on her walker, one by her tv, and one by her back door. She also has one that she wears around her neck when she ventures outside. The Chtoocy company even sent me an extra charger free of charge. Setting up the units is the hardest part, but the ease of the push button is simple enough for my mother to understand and feel secure about.

This product has some features that need to be understood in order to use it properly. When the call button is pressed, the receiver only rings for a short time and stops, instead of ringing continuously, until a person acknowledges it. So it is possible to miss a call. Also there is no way of knowing whether the receiver is on or off just by looking at it. My wife inadvertantly switched the receiver off by leaning on the power button, and there was no way for her to know it was off. Also, it is possible for the volume to be muted, and there is also no visual indication of that. My advice is to TEST the paired unit at least once each day, to check that it is in the correct operational mode. The customer service provided, and the quick response to answering my questions was excellent.
