Baketivity - Pretzel Kit

My 6 year old loved making pretzels, which are definitely one of his top 3 favorite foods. It was super helpful to have everything portioned out and the directions were simple enough for him to follow with minimal help from me. I needed a bit more flour for rolling and they needed about 5 more minutes in the oven. I loved doing this activity with him and was happy to see him doing something other than playing on a iPad or watching mindless tv. I’m hoping to teach all my kids some basic cooking skills too and this is a great intro. Would 100% buy again.

This was a fun activity for the whole family. It was very beautifully packaged, with all ingredients included. Instructions were clear and easy. Great value for money. Would definitely purchase again

Perfect kit. I purchased the pretzel kit. Everything we needed was prepackaged in the exact amounts needed, except for water obviously. I was concerned there would be down time waiting for the yeast to rise or that it would be too complicated. The dough only had to rest for ten minutes, my five year old granddaughter had a blast kneading the dough. Because of the way this kit is put together, creating the pretzels went pretty fast without a lot of down time or waiting. From start to finish, it took us just over an hour to be actually eating. We had some mess, but it was well worth it for the joy my granddaughter got out of the activity. I also liked that it was like a science experiment and a learning experience, how the ingredients change as they are mixed with one another, the different smells. I'm going to be purchasing this again as well as the other kits to just have on hand because they are so fun and the time you get to spend together is made so valuable.

Overall, I think it was pricey; but I needed a gift quickly. The LAST thing my young sister needs is more STUFF that will take up anymore space in her already crowded room, so this made for a nice Christmas gift. My mother and her made them together and my mother reported they tasted as good as the pretzels she remembered buying in the streets of New York, which I take as high praise. They sent a picture and I was impressed with how good they looked, so the directions provided must have been solid. Overall, I felt it was spendy, but that is what last minute Christmas gift buying is sometimes.

So super tastyso easy to useThe wife and I take this camping with us and bake it in the camper. We actually wrap hot dogs with it and well it is such a hit with friends, family, fellow campers that I keep buying box after box lolthis is a great appetizer or even full blown dinner on a healthy fast food cycle..... LOL

My kids and I had a great time making these pretzels 🥨 Love that all the ingredients are pre-measured and individually packaged and just the right size for my kids to participate. High quality cooking kit with all the essentials for a fully functional pretzel baking experience. I wish the price was slightly cheaper, as I’d like to purchase more. But the kit makes a decent amount of pretzels considering the price. Not only was it a great experience but the pretzels tasted great! 😋

This is a neat idea, but I got it for my 6 year old daughter who loves to cook and it has SO MANY STEPS. I could definitely see an older child enjoying this, but I wouldn't really recommend it for a child younger than 10. My little one got bored because a lot of it an adult has to do for safety reasons. Pretzels were very yummy though.
