Unimpressed
Didn't make much of a difference, barely changed any of the discolouration on my carpet and didn't foam very well.I've attached a before and after but even with lots of scrubbing and foaming there's not much difference. The scent was nice but didn't last too long and the carpet is slightly softer but again not that noticeably.

BRILLIANT FOR CARPETS AND FABRIC CHAIR HANDLES
Needed to give my stairwell carpet a really good clean and purchased this. Mixed with warm water, used a hard brush and went to work.Dries very quickly and the carpet is so soft after, it's like new!. Also use on my fabric couch and arm chair handles that started to look dingy from people resting their heads/ arms on the handles.Brought them up nice and clean and so pleased. Now I keep in stock as it's almost impossible to find on the highstreet. And this works and smells so much better than the foam or powder.

Works surprisingly well
I have a grey carpet and despite having a doormat there is an eventual build up of grime near my front door. So every now and again I get my washing up bowl, a scrubbing brush, and a bottle of this cleaner from under the sink and set to work cleaning. For a small area (e.g. 1m square) you only need a capful or two of this stuff in about an inch or so of warm water. Froth the solution with your brush until a foam forms, then pick up the foam with your brush bristles and work it into the carpet. Once dry, vacuum the area.If an area is particularly soiled it might take a couple of goes, but it brings my carpet up a treat. I’ve had no problems with discolouration but test in an inconspicuous area first to be safe. When I run out, I will be buying more.

Only whitening effect and time consuming
Yes it works, but the effect is superficial, not deep clean, as it acts like a whitening product, as clearly described on the product, however, it does not get the dirt out of the carpet. It also takes ages to apply. It took me almost two hours to do a 2 by 3 meters patch although only a quarter of the bottle was needed as foam was aplenty. Later I realised that domestic carpet cleaners are available to purchase for a hundred quid. I will consider to buy an electric one as not worth spending so much time doing by hand.

too perfumed
I really don't like products with a strong smell ... it makes your home smell as if you're covering something, also not good for your lungs. So despite it being OK as a cleaner I would go for something less smellie in future.
