This hole punch is sturdy and punches through paper cleanly. The rubber base keeps it from sliding, and the tray is easy to empty. The only downside is that it takes a little extra force when punching close to the 12-sheet limit. Overall, a reliable office tool.

This paper punch is right for the job! We did a big home project of making a military dossier about my father-in-law's WWII history. We made 3 copies for us and family members. Many of the pictures we put in plastic sleeves that would go into a 3-ring notebook; but the rest of it had to be punched. We took it to an office supply store print center to use the self-service area. Well.....the paper punch there was filthy, it had no guide, you had to "eye" it and it looked like an ancient artifact. I said, no way. We left there, came home, and I ordered this. It's heavy and well worth the money. I'm glad I ordered it so now I have one for keeps in my home office.

This is a solid hole punch. I went through several hundred sheets of paper already and all holes were clean and consistent. I accidentally punched through a stack of 20 pages when I wasn’t paying attention and there was only some slight resistance but it punched through them just as cleanly as my ten page stacks. Not something I’ll do regularly because I don’t want to damage it, but it handled it fine.I really like how solid this one feels, the rubbery bottom to keep it in place, and the heaviness of it. The upturned lip helps to keep the papers in position and the punched clipping storage is well made. I expect this will last for many years, but if it doesn’t, I’ll update my review.The only negative is the little plastic chips that are supposed to lock it don’t stay in place, and it wasn’t locked when it came out of the box. I don’t know if I’m just trying to use it incorrectly, but there weren’t any instructions in the box. I plan on storing it on a shelf so it doesn’t matter to me if it locks l, but if it matters to you that is something to be aware of.

Filing systems in Europe are NOT what I'm familiar with. So I had to buy a 3-hole punch to work with all my existing notebooks, etc. Works well, punches cleanly. 10/10 would absolutely buy again.
