Ultimate Round Fire Pit

Great fit. Sturdy material. This cover has passed the test of time, never getting a hole or anything with years of shoveling snow off of it and squirrels occasionally walking over it. No water ever gets under the cover. (We live at high altitude with a lot of close sun and no shade, so it did fade a little.)

This fits our fire place perfectly. This is our second time ordering one. The first one lasted a few years , but where we live, the sun really takes a tole on the covers. Even when it was faded though, it still protected it which is why we decided to order another. I don’t mind replacing every few years especially for the price . It is water proof and made well. I do wish the color lasted longer but it protects our fireplace so that’s all that matters.

I was looking for a nice quality cover for a brand new fire pit. The color of this cover blends well with the color of the rosette in the sunken patio and you can notice in the photo where the water has beaded up on the fabric. The manufacturer states on the package that this cover is water resistant and not waterproof. We haven’t used the fire pit yet so there is an upside down large plant pot inside it to allow water to run off the cover. Our fire pit is 30” and this cover is 34” so even if we added a rounded spark screen this cover would have plenty of room. We are quite happy with the quality of the fabric and the color which is not your typical black like a gas grill cover. Time will tell if the cover holds up but we do intend on taking the fire pit in for the winter. We are not fire pit people as we heat our house with wood and don’t waste wood to make s’mores or chit chat around the fire. Again, this product has only been in use for a short time and has performed well during windy nights and rain. You may have a different result due to weather and sun exposure in your area.

Love these covers. They are thick but manageable. They do fade in direct sunlight but are longer lasting than others we have used. They are waterproof and protect what they are supposed to. A fire pit in this case. I have purchased the chair and sofa covers in the past.

I would recommend this cover for anyones fire pit. It is very sturdy, the material is heavy duty and does not leak water into my fire pit. It can withstand high wind events and it covers my whole Solo fire pit. I certainly would recommend this as a great purchase for a similar fire pipe situation. It stands up to the rain and the sn, it has faded a little but that's to be expected in full sun everyday.

Here's the 52" Duck Cover with the 47" Lowe's Master Forge (Big Horn) Fire Pit and a 40" Vevor Firepit Spark Screen Lid. I use the velcro straps on each side, plus the irons, to hold it down. I've only had it a few weeks with light rain. The cover that comes with the fire pit is garbage. Tears with a light poke. Hail ruined it. But this cover is much thicker and holds up to touch. Time will tell if UV ruins the threads.

Fit perfect and really good quality

The quality of this cover is exceptional. It’s got double seams, vents, and Velcro on both sides. It’s very heavy duty and the price was unbelievable. It will definitely fit a 24 inch high fire pit. The one in my picture is 34 inches across and 24 inches high, it could fit 35 inches across and still cover 24 high. I’m a happy customer. As a sidenote, I am not a vine reviewer and I never get anything for free. I wish. I relied on other peoples reviews to make this purchase, so I’m paying it back. I hope it’s helpful!

We bought the 36" Duck Cover to replace the cover that originally came with our fire pit (after two years of seasonal use, it was completely destroyed). Right out of the box, the Duck Cover is noticeably made of much higher quality materials. The Velcro straps on the sides are wide and ensure a snug fit even though our fire pit tapers inward towards the bottom. We've experience some heavy rain with water pooling on the top, but it has not penetrated to the interior and so our glass fire-rocks have stayed dry. The exterior also dries quickly. We've only had it a few weeks so far, so can't really comment on long term durability, but no complaints so far. One last thing, our firepit has a diameter of 36.5"; I would not chance this cover with a firepot whose diameter is more than that.

Only used in the summer so far, can't speak yet to overwintering. Material and stitching is heavy-duty, high quality. Thought it was a bit pricey, until it showed up and I saw and felt the quality. Unfortunately, for my style of fire bowl the location of the Velcro straps is too high on the cover, so instead I tie them over the round rail at the bottom and it holds in place very well, even in 90 km/h winds. Will definitely buy more Duck covers/products in the future.
