eXtremeRate always has great quality shells. Feel a lil softer and smoother than the original shell however there are some small edges from printing that can be felt; such as the end where the two sides meet. The color is still great and installation wasn't too much of a pain.

Feels nice underneath your hands.It's more flat black for color. Quality is good. Installation was pretty simple with videos on YouTube especially since this was my first time taking my controller apart.

The cover looks and feels good, but when I used the screw in the pack, it will stuck into the hole and it will be stripped for just few turns. If you want to take it out forcely, the head will be taken off easily, and leave the body.Add: it takes long time to finish, but looks good

Such an upgrade from the standard controller!! I've ordered this back panel and in at least 3 different colors. Love the feeling this has on my fingers. Even with long hours of play my hands never get sweaty or gross feeling.

I have purchased many replacement shells from eXtremeRate and their quality is top-tier. Everything fits perfectly and the finished product always looks stunning. Definitely recommended in my opinion.That said, disassembling the PS5 controller isn't too difficult, but it is tedious. There are many videos on YouTube that show how to disassemble it step by step and they are very helpful. If you have never replaced a shell before, please watch these videos first before buying to see if you want to go through the process.

The custom back housing shell is a great comfortable feel/ soft texture, and is an exact fit for the original PS5 controller. It was easy to install and fit as if it were the original. Thank you so much for selling a black shell replacement without me having to go out and buy a whole new controller just because I disliked original 'colour'. (the white shell that originally came with controller.) Thank you!

Great item that really is so simple to change.This item really does change the look of the padOnly thing to note is there is no texturing on this so not sure how slippery it would get if you had sweaty hands..Great product!

Looks great! Backplate is super easy! Just gotta do a few screws and no touching of the internals.

Weird having to buy the back shell and front shell separate. The black shell to match some dark plates for the PS5 overall looks and feel great great solution to getting a clean black and grey finish to console setup.
