My original pads were flaking off and we’re getting flat. Was going to replace with a newer model, but instead saved myself $300 by buying these. A little annoying to install however YouTube is very helpful here, didn’t even need the tool. Definitely recommend to prolong the life of these awesome headphones.

They worked and fit perfect, just a little bit of a pain to install, but I made it work. They are comfortable, similar to the originals. I would recommend and caution to use patience during installation.

I actually installed these on MDX-XB950 wired headphones. I had to use contact cement to glue them to the headphones, the original ear pieces were held in place with adhesive as well. Worked great. I wear headphones 4-6 hours a day and they are not as soft or comfortable as the original pads. Hopefully they will break in a little.

This set of pads fit my Sony set like a glove, albeit a skintight glove. Getting the pads on was a lot more work than I figured for, but it was worth it.

Looks great. It has the same wrinkled look that the photo shows, but feels the same as original.It appears to have a higher quality construction than the original.Easy to replace/install. I didn't need the included tool.Has wider ear-hole, so fits over the ear better.Will update if there is a problem.

Nearly a year of light use and the seams have separated. They mostly laid on the desk for charging, and occasionally transported in my computer backpack between work and home.They are comfortable enough as the material is soft and pliable, but that also means it's thin.Debating whether to give them another go, or get OEM for significantly more. Those lasted over five years of active wear and travel.

Looks like the original, but better. I got them to replace my boyfriend's original Sony headset earpads that wore out and he says they feel brand new.

Though these pair does a good job replacing my old ear-cups, please be aware that these are not a like for like replacement. For starters, these are considerably thinner, in height, compared to the original SONY ear-cups, and the build quality also looks a bit cheep when you wear them on. Because these are thinner, the ear-pads neither fit as well as my old pads, nor does feel as comfortable as my headphones: It now feel like on ear headphone rather than the nice over ear experience the original ear pads gave me. Sponge inside the pads also feels much hard, and it hurts a bit as you wear them on while listening. This also affects the white noice cancellation, and the music leaks considerably (especially when i turn the XBASS on) as my headphones don't cover my ear fully anymore. Though i might keep these ear-pads for lack of alternative choice, my headphones no longer feels the same, which is quite disappointing! I am rating this 2, just for the quality and ease of installation!
