Great replacement for useless OEM cards in Acer Aspire R7
Great price, works great - fast, stable wifi and bluetooth connection, better wifi and bluetooth range than OEM cards, even with same antennas. For those of you who are struggling with the Acer Aspire R7 wireless (I have model R7-572g bought in South Africa) this card works perfectly as a straight swop replacement for the exceedingly poor OEM Broadcom and Atheros options.Story only relevant to R7 owners in search of a solution - My super expensive high end 2014 R7-572g originally shipped with a Broadcom card that appeared to be working but was unbelievably slow and unstable, issue well documented on various forums and a good youtube video. After I returned my PC for warranty repair Acer replaced it with same card. Same issues. Many phone calls and emails later, I refused to send PC away again for weeks, they sent out a technician and replaced card with an Atheros wifi card. The wireless was better... when it worked, and now bluetooth was missing entirely and I had frequent loss of wifi connection. Not OK. After contacting Acer and the technician again it was clear that I was not going to get a solution from them, so I ordered this Intel Wifi card. Five minute install, uninstalled/deleted all other wifi drivers and software, downloaded and installed proper drivers from Intel site, and wifi and bluetooth now both fast, stable and reliable. Should have just done it myself in the first place and saved a great deal of wasted time. FYI since you're now comfortable opening your PC (you'll need a torx T8 screwdriver), consider sticking an mSATA SSD in the empty mSATA slot and using that as your primary drive for hugely increased performance while still retaining lots of storage space on the HDD.

Excellent replacement for Killer 1103 owners with wireless droupout issues.
Works just great with Windows 8.1 Pro. I had a Killer 1103 which constantly disconnected from my roommates Apple AirPort Express and was just pissing me off to no end. Once I replaced it with this card the issues disappeared. Granted the signal strength isn't as strong with this card, but I can now connect at wireless AC speeds which makes up for the slight loss in signal over the other card. (this card is Dual band but only has dual antenna support, so if you have a third in your computer make sure you have a way to make sure it is covered with non conductive material). The last 3 Bluetooth drivers also work just fine and don't cause issues like they were rumored to in the past.

Works as advertised and no problems in 7 months.
I bought this chip for a laptop replacement since the original only worked with 2.5ghz. This has worked great and I have had no problems in the 7 months I've been using it almost every day. It was easy to replace the old one and had it done in about 10 minutes. Great investment to allow and older model laptop or computer to use 2.5ghz and 5ghz signals for maximum speed and connectivity.

Awesome tiny piece of technology
This is five minutes after install but I will update if anything changes.Installed an a Dell Studio 1749 replacing the worthless Dell 1501 wireless adaptor. Install was a breeze in this laptop, remove six screws and there she is. Five minute job at most.Downloaded drivers (as others have noted, you MUST have an alternate method of internet access to get the drivers) and without any fuss, Bluetooth and WiFi were both working properly. NOTE-The Intel website for these drivers is confusing as there is way too many options. Search "7260 AC" and select the product that doesn't have Desktop in the name. Then pick your OS and download the driver set with Bluetooth. It's easier said than done, but it's not too bad.Speed seems great, will update when I get a new AC router to take advantage of its capabilities. As a side note, it's TINY. The pictures make it look way bigger than it is.Update 1-8-15Every other startup, the bluetooth part of this adaptor doesn't work. In device manager, it is listed as "Unknown Device". A reboot will turn it back on, but it gets old. I've updated the drivers and it isn't better.

Works like a charm, direct swap in Dell Inspiron 7000 series
Installed in my new Dell Inspiron 14" 7347 in a couple minutes. If you have never pulled the bottom cover of this laptop off, it helps to have a cheap set of mobile phone repair tools such as the plastic pry tools. Installed just as the other came out; it had a Intel 802.11n (Intel 7260HMW N) with bluetooth card in it from Dell. Direct plug and play. Before I put this new card in I downloaded the latest wifi drivers from Dell which happen to be the same driver package for this card as the N card it came with.Windows noticed the new card instantly and didn't even have to update drivers or device settings. Me being paranoid about driver issues I uninstalled and reinstalled the device in device manager but it wasn't needed. The only thing you'll have to change is your wifi and bluetooth connections since they are based off the device address (MAC) and not your physical computer.
