Does what it says on the tin. Dog took a chunk out of the original gasket causing it to fail to seal properly. Ordered this off-brand replacement since Fagor has gone bust, I love the cooker, and didn't want to shell out another couple of hundred for a whole new cooker, also sending another bulky product to landfill when it's only a small part that has failed. Was a bit concerned with other reviews saying the fit of this replacement gasket isn't quite right, but in my experience this product substitutes well for the original. Cooker is now back in full service (phew!).

The seller's claim that it fits the Fagor Duo is simply false advertising. I have the Fagor Duo 8 and 4 quart pressure cooker. The gaskets that I received were clearly not the original size. This gasket is smaller and thinner than the original. I doubted it would work after installing it in the lid, but I tried anyway. It would not seal the cooker to get it up to pressure. I put the original gasket in the lid, and it sealed instantly. It appears that Fagor still sells their products in Canada. I will try to source a replacement gasket that way. If anyone knows a way to source a Fagor brand replacement gasket, please help.

I bought the wrong size! The 9 inch ones I bought in their place fit fine and work as expecte! BTW there are 2 things that might help you get the RIGHT FIT: 1. What is the maker of your pressure cooker? Just as a lid for pressure cooker A might not fit on B though they are the are the same size, the same holds true of gaskets! Weird but... 2. What is the diameter? MEASURE IT! That's what happened to me. HIM said he needed a new gasket. I asked him for the maker. He gave me the answer. Found it here. Next question; what is the diameter? HE (the mechanical engineer) says 10 inches. So that's what I ordered. WRONG! Ergo, I must reiterate: MEASURE! Do not estimate!!! Returning stuff costs money!! So remember: 1. Who manufactured your cooker? 2. What is the diameter of your cooker?

I have a 10 quart Fagor Duo Pressure Cooker and seen this 2 pak replacement silicone rings for my pressure cooker almost 2 years ago and has been out of stock and has never been back in stock until I seen it in my saved list a week and a half ago saying last one so I hurried to order it and while I was waiting on my order I looked at a lot of the reviews and seen where it seemed like 80 percent of the people who had ordered this that it leaked or wouldn't seal and was just a touch narrower than the original and then I had a sickening feeling in my gut because Fagor is no longer in business and Zavor who won't say if there parts will work is now also out of business from the calls I made while waiting on my order. I can not believe that no one makes a exact replacement silicone ring for this brand that's no longer in business. I am Happy Happy Happy to say that I received my ordered and it seems to work just fine for my pressure cooker. As most people had said that these rings is just a touch narrower and that is true and the diameter appears to be spot on. I am so Happy that this works and my hundred plus dollar Fagor Pressure Cooker will live on and possibly be handed down to someone who will get some good use out of it like I have. Good for pressure cooker

Description say it will fit Fagor pressure cooker . But this doesn't fit , it's very thin for my Fagor pressure cooker. It doesn't seal properly . Fagor pressure cooker seal are thicker than this one.

I have an older Fagor pressure cooker and it’s difficult to find replacement seals that work. This one does!

The product explicitly says it is for Fagor Duo 8 qt or 10 qt. I have one of each of those pressure cookers. I purchased this two-pack to replace aging gaskets, and these were much worse than the aging ones. Thanks to the negative reviews (which I was skeptical of) I tested when I received and did not throw away my old ones. These new ones are much worse than my old ones. Steam barrels out the sides of the lid. I compared them carefully to my old ones. The problem is NOT the diameter. The diameter seems fine. The problem is the height. If you lay them on a counter side by side and look at them from counter level you can see that these are one or two millimeters shorter than the originals and I think that is why they don't make a tight seal.

I am very happy with this item. Very good quality.

The pressure gasket simply doesn't seal a Fagor Duo (I got 2 and neither of them worked) They are not "high" enough to fit firmly inside the lid. Will be returning them, but a total waste of time.
