DMC Embroidery Floss Pack - Variegated - 8.7 Yards - 36 skeins

This package has 18 colors of variegated DMC floss with 2 skeins of each color included. I always use DMC because the floss is an excellent quality and always washes without any problems. I hadn't been able to find the variegated skeins locally and am so glad I ordered this package! The colors are bright and well blended and will be perfect when embroidering flowers. There is quite a variety of color from lights to darks with several values of each color. In addition to using the floss alone, I also plan to blend a strand or two of the variegated floss with solid floss at times for a beautiful, but subtle, blend. With two skeins of each color I'll have enough of any one color to complete quite a large embroidery piece. I highly recommend this package of beautiful floss.

Pretty variegated colors to add a little something extra to your hand work. DMC is good quality and the price for the selection can't be beat.

I wanted to make a quick gift. I'm in China, but all my cross stitch supplies are in storage so I bought this floss pack to build my essentials set. For this specific project, I only needed a few colors, but the floss pack is so diverse, I'm happy to have more colors available when in the future I want to make a project again. Thank you!!!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these beautiful variegated embroidery threads! Especially since you get 2 of each! Variegated means the colors change throughout the skein, going gradually from very light to dark, and back again. These make that variation slowly, allowing the use one section of thread to show color change on a whole flower. That is seen in the tall purple and tall pink flowers in the photo with 2 embroideries. In the yellow and blue flowers, the blue is variegated, but I had to skip around to spread out the light to dark shades of the blue. The single pink flower was made by using a darker color and adding a few lighter pink hi-lights.

DMC is the only embroidery floss I use. It's better quality than any floss I've ever seen. I use it for cross stitch and it's the best. It has a nice shine and it's the most durable of any other brands.

DMC is my favourite embroidery thread. The cost was reasonable, the colours nice and quality as expected. And so convenient having the fast delivery. Would not hesitate to buy again.
