Q: Does this table move easily on a rug or carpet?

It does not. That is one of the issues that I’m having with it now. Although, the cart is very well-made and I’d rather have it then not have it even though it doesn’t move easily on a carpet.

Q: what is the width of the desk?

It is adjustable from 55.1inches to 82.7inches Long and 25.6inches to 37.4inches high

Q: What is the thread size of the casters?

For anyone else who want's to know this answer I used 8m by 1.5" length threaded 3 inch wheels to replace the wheels that came with this table they fit perfectly.

Q: Is there an expansion table top available? Would like the table to fit completely over a king size bed! Need at least 26 more inches!

Get 4 low profile hinges an wood, or get an entire piece of wood. Iheard it was particle board. Get thin plywood way better,
