May not be as good as the barrel kind, but my husband placed it in an electric drill motor, attached it to a saw horse and plucked 4 chickens in 2-3 minutes apiece. I then rinsed off the chickens and plucked out any remaining feathers by hand. Certainly cut the plucking time way down. I would recommend this to anyone who only butchers a few chickens occasionally. If you are going to butcher 25 at a time, go for the drum type. We only butchered 4 our 1st time because the meat bees were starting to be a problem. We are going to do 5 more of mine and 12 of the neighbors in the near future.

I received this item broken. one row of the "fingers" was already broken off BUT I had to dispatch my turkey in an emergency before having a chance to return it so we put 50% of the product to the test. Got it tightened to the drill and it exploded into chunks as soon as I gave it a spin. My husband tossed in the trash and I hand-plucked my turkeys instead. Would really like my money back. really terrible quality plastic and a waste of time. I would give it a zero if I could.

Housing is plastic and works perfectly, light and durable. I think it is a bit over priced, however if it last through the next few harvests then it's money well spent. I would recommend this to anyone, unless it breaks prematurely due to its plastic construction and one metal screw

This product is for taking feathers off chickens. It works fast and it is efficient. It installs easily onto a drill which can be help by a table vice , for ease of operation.

I bought this plucker to use on an electric drill to pluck 4 chickens. After 1 chicken, the two halves fell apart and a nipple flew off and we couldn't find it in the grass. Without that nipple, the entire thing was unbalanced and we had to remove the opposite nipple in order to be able to continue. We were able to put the plucker attachment back together but had to really tighten down the nut holding the two halves together. I'm glad I had it to help with the plucking. It wasn't quick. I'd say it took at least 10 min per bird to get completely plucked, but still not as long as doing by hand and got most of the feathers off of the body and legs. I still had to do a little plucking by hand. The design is really quite basic. I'm sure I could make something more durable that operated essentially the same way. I'm glad I got it but I don't think I would purchase again.

Product was used for removing feathers from butchered chickens. It worked best with an electric drill that had been stabilized against something. It did a great job and it was well worth the $ spent on it. I would have hated to pluck them by hand . This items saved time and made quick work out of an Arduous job!

Hard to hold birds and use drill at same time. It also rips the skin off the birds if your not careful. I found it’s easier to take feathers off if you have your birds are cold. Put them in the refrigerator a day before you clean them and the feathers come off easier and the skin stays attached better.

The plastic part broke within 1 minute of using it. It was 3-D printed and not durable at all.
