Decent eye primer
Holds pigment to your eyes very well, has a slight tackiness to it so the shadow sticks. Helps pigment look brighter and more vibrant.

Lasts Long, Good Product
I normally use higher end eyeshadow primer, but gave this a try and it works great! Lasts long and no creasing.

Better than more expensive brands!
I can’t speak for how longwearing the product makes my eyeshadows, as I didn’t perform a wear test.However I tested it against the milk makeup hydrogrip eyeshadow primer which I had also recently purchased, and the difference is ridiculous.I put one swipe of each on my arm and blended it out with the included doe foot applicator for both primers. I gave both primers a few minutes to dry down and then using a cotton swab for fairness, applied a loose pigment (pink) and a pressed shadow (purple, to really test them) to each of the patches where primer was applied. The vibrant swatches on the right are the nyx primer, with the patchy/sheer swatches belonging to milk (except the smaller pink swatch, which was no primer). Doing a gentle rub test, the nyx is also the clear winner, with no transfer and no disturbing of the pigment. Rubbing the milk primer caused it to smear slightly. I didn’t feel any burning or stinging from either primer, but this is on my wrist so ymmv.The only negative possible comment I could make is that this could be drying on the skin, so good for oilier eyelids, but it may be an issue for those with dry or mature skin.Save your money and avoid the milk primer (did nothing for my eyeshadow, but was okay for under eye concealer prep).

Just started using this gel on my eyelids. Need to allow a few minutes to dry. So far, I like it.

Does NOT work for oily/hooded eyelids.
Had high hopes for this but unfortunately it didn’t hold up. I have oily partially hooded eyelids and when I used a longwear pencil it was smudging within 30 minutes.

Works!!
It’s been working fine so far. My liner does not stick to my upper eyelid anymore. I can post pone an upper eyelid surgery now …lol
