How is this different from the other one listed on amazon for $13.99?

The material is different, this is a softer material. But the reflectivity is the same

I wear a size medium or large in mens shirts, i am 6' even and am somewhat slim/athletic should i go with the medium or large/xl?

I think that the medium would be fine. I wore it over a coat and still had room to adjust on the sides. I think the medium was for waist Suze 31-39 inches. I guess it depends on how bulky your coat is that you are wearing it over. The company was great they emailed to be sure it fit if not they were willing to exchange without a problem.

The trim is white or silver? Not really sure the pictures seem to show both thanks

Can it be pulled over, while wearing a motorcycle helmet?

Hi there, as the previous answer suggests, it may cause a ripping, as the material is meant to be lightweight. However, the larger sizes have larger neck openings and if you went with a L/XL it may fit over a motorcycle helmet. I'm sorry I can't give you a definitive answer, as this is not something we tested.
