California Car Duster California Car Duster Standard Model with Plastic Handle and Red Wax Treated Cotton Mop 62443

Have bought before. This things works like magic. No scratches, pollen just disappears. I take out side, smack on my hand before use, just make the duster fluff a bit. You will, love it. Don’t buy a knock off, get the real deal…

I Love this ! It's well made, & exactly as advertised. I'm using it everywhere. Both Inside and outside of the home. The wax treated duster attracts dust so well. I know it's intended for cars but once you see all the high spots you can reach with this duster you'll find yourself hitting the door frames, ceiling fans and all the other spots that have been hard to reach. You can quickly dust so much in a short amount of time with a duster this size. Plus there's No need to clean it . It works better the more you use it. If you've never tried one, this is a really good one to try especially at this price.

Very pleased with this, it is the second one I’ve bought. I will definitely buy this again when I need to.

Works okay.

I have used these for over 30 years and would never be without one. I like to keep my car clean and looking good between car washes and the duster does the job superbly. I live in an arid climate and dust accumulates on our cars daily so a duster is essential if you want to have a just washed look. I will say that they have changed the design over the years and this one seems to have less material in the mop head compared to the 10 year old one it replaced. I have also noted that there is a small amount of red color fibers from the head that are left on the vehicle after dusting. Hopefully this will go away after more use. If you have never tried a California car duster you owe it to yourself to buy one. You won’t regret it!

I owned an original California Car Duster back in the late 80s -early 90s. I used that one for all of my automotive dust off needs. When I moved 2 years ago, the original one was beat up, and pretty much done with its useful life span. I found this one and ordered it. YEP! It's the same one, same construction, and same ability to clean off a dusty car, table top, shop table, you name it, it will dust it off. Doesn't scratch the surface, and all you have to do is shake it hard and it cleans itself. Perfect. No need to mess with perfection, just get yourself one and you will see!

These things are great for dusting your car and do, as advertised, get better with age, until they don't. I've had one for over a decade and lately noticed that are a lot of swirl-shaped scratches all over the hood of my '65 Mustang, the pattern I use to dust. Unless my wife dropped on the ground and lied about it, I'd say that they have a limited lifetime. They get better with use until they pick up abrasives. I'd advise monitoring your finish and replacing when necessary as I'm going to be spending a few hundred bucks on detailing because I didn't. And no, washing doesn't work, because it removes the wax which makes the thing so great in the first place. Bottom line: paying ~twelve bucks for one of these every few years is a hell of a lot cheaper than professional detailing.

Easy to program, so far these have worked great for a year. The opening distance seems better than the original. I would recommend these, just make sure you buy the right one.

As described

I was a tad sceptical this would work as well as claimed and was blown away by just how good it is. Incredible! I’d had to leave my car in an underground garage for 4 weeks and previously have used a few chamois leathers and a bucket of water to remove dust and came across this duster. My word is amazing, works exactly as described and so easy to use. I followed the instructions to first let it sit on old newspaper to draw out the excess paraffin wax and you could see it on the paper. Just one brush across each section of my car, shaken out after each and done. I just couldn’t believe it! I highly rate this duster, it really does work, exceedingly well!
