Protection and speed
As a professional or prosumer product, this wifi device offers speed along with peace of mind (in terms of security) not offered by commercial routers bought from big blue stores. Works great with my 1 gig network - with 300 mbps about 30 feet away from the router that has a 60 foot PoE cable to the fiber optic modem. Also it feels good knowing that I am dealing with a company that has not left a backdoor or exploit open for the world to enter.

Results/performance is "mixed"
1. Very stylish2. No way to MOUNT it except on the rails of suspended ceilings (not like the older Enterprise model which was excellent)3. Heat sink on the bottom gets very warm (unlike the previous wi-fi 5 models)4. Works well with POE or 12V adapter5. Range is modest and does not seem to work well of the "ends" of the device (regardless of what Peplink's illustrations may suggest)6. Ideal for use with a Peplink router with its built-in AP controller7. IC2 is highly over-rated and presents a serious security risk(Peplink is headquartered in China -- not Taiwan) -- but the use of IC2 is optional, not required (don't enable it)8. Expensive and not as good of a deal as previous models9. Claimed speeds can only be reached in a perfect environment -- extremely wide channels, no interference, etc

Another solid perfomer from Peplink
I have used Peplink routers for the past ten or so years. It simply never breaks. With the new access point I bought, I can get the coverage and strong signal I require. Without a doubt, Peplink is my preferred network product.

It works
Have unit connected via PoE, and it’s working great. The only downside it’s a little expensive.

Ignore the other one star review - the guy is incompetent
Ok thi is the best AP ever. Ignore the other 1 star review.. any newbie that reads it can see that that dude has no clue what he is talking about. He keeps droning on about an ac AP.. not even realizing it is an AX. I have two already buying a third, super easy to connect, super easy to run, super fast.. its perfect.

Wow - FANTASTIC COVERAGE
I have several Peplink/Pepwave AP One Enterprise APs that provide decent coverage across three floors of a fairly large structure, but had a dead-ish spot in one area, so I decided to add an AX Lite...and wow. Just wow. This thing is a flamethrower. The difference is astounding. I am in an adjoining area on a laptop that was formerly reporting a 13Mbps link and it's now over 700Mbps. I may end up replacing the AP Ones...and no doubt, will likely need fewer of them.BTW, I am managing them all via a Peplink Balance One Core, so I can't comment on the AP's management UI...but if you have a Balance router, you know how easy the config is. Plug the AP into your network and the router detects the new AP and pushes the shared config to it (unless you are restricting by serial number). If you have a Peplink Balance router in a SOHO environment, this is the AP for you. Look no further. The larger AX is a significant step up, not only in terms of coverage, but also in terms of weight, power requirements, and cost.

Solid AP/Works well in Incontrol2
I have 4 AP (newer wifi6 models) from Peplink and they are solid performers. They integrate well with Incontrol and are easy to manage. One thing I don't like is the mount, it's just a small plastic item and when I have it mounted to the drop ceiling it leans to one side. It really needs to be a larger mount and made from aluminum so it lays flat.My internet connection is only 100Mb/s and with about 50 users on the network, I still get >90Mb/s via the AP.
