Q: Will this work outdoors?

Hello, I do use them outdoors. I live in Arizona. It is dry and therefore can get away with it. If you live in an area that gets a lot of rain I would suggest putting the unit in a plastic sandwich bag only allowing the movement stem to protrude through a minimal hole in the bag. I would also coat the stem with light oil to prevent any oxidation. Hope this helps. RPrinceton
