I actually ordered these initially for pet use. I needed tightly wound cotton-tips to apply “toothpaste” to my cat’s teeth, and for applying ophthalmic ointment to his eyes on occasion. Needless to say, I didn’t want “fuzzies” left behind for either. These work great, and I love the longer wooden stick. Needless to say when you have something like these around, you continue to find additional uses for them. I also really appreciated the smaller packets rather than one mass package; it makes it so convenient to open the smaller number; while the others continue to stay neatly packaged and sanitary until needed. These were perfect for my needs and I highly recommend them!

I read through a LOT of reviews trying to find a good sterile swab, and while I can’t attest to the sterile-ness of them because I don’t have a microscope, I can say I looked up the company and they seem to be a legit dental supplier. The sticks are firm, don’t want to break, and don’t have splinters. The cotton buds are firmly attached and won’t come off in your ears, and are very tightly bound so fibers won’t come off in your wound. The only possible downside is there’s a lot in each sterile package, but I just sterilized a mason jar in boiling water for 11 minutes, per my altitude, let it dry with a sterile gauze pad unfolded over the top, and put two packages of swabs in there for future use. So if I need one or several swabs, it’ll be super easy. Cut the bottom of the package so they fall out cotton tips first so you can pick them up by the stick ends.

These are my go to for swabs because the wood is strong and the cotton isn't flimsy. I use them for multiple applications including art projects. Good swabs and very durable.

I use these cotton tipped applicators for my teeth whitening business. I’ve always ordered the 6 inch and this time decided to try the 3 inch. They are very durable and sturdy. They are great quality and very absorbent. I use them to apply Vaseline to the lips and gum tissue. They are a little shorter than I prefer I’m realizing. I think I’m just use to having the longer stick, but they are very convenient and easy to store. They’re more of the size of a regular Q-tip. Overall I am happy with them and they are definitely a great value for the money.
