This is a solid and sturdy stand terminating in a 5/8 thread. But contrary to the product info, be aware if you have something like an SE Reflexion filter that has a 3/8 thread, you will require an adapter which this seller does not supply. Also just to clarify, this stand does not cater for a microphone as well as the filter, without extra fittings. (or another Mic stand is required.) That said, I'm very happy with the stand and in my case, now have an SE replacement fitting clamped to the top of it that does cater for a studio microphone as well as the filter.
