Digital Fused Spur Timer Switch | Immersion Heater & Towel Rail Controller

The unit is well manufactured and doesn't feel cheap or flimsy. the instruction were quite clear and I was able to install it myself (I have a basic "DIY" electrical competency). Set-up and operation is simple (my 79 year old mother can handle it, including using the boost function). This has saved her getting up at an ungodly hour to switch on the hot water (immersion heater) during the cheap rate of her Economy 7 tariff, so the improved sleep is priceless :) Just make sure to go for a deep rear box (think I went for one with 47mm depth)

This has only been in use for a few weeks and it's a long-term purchase, so who knows? That said, as a replacement for a standard switch, it fits perfectly, was easy to exchange, works exactly as advertised and does precisely what I wanted. Happy - so far!

Great produce. The lights are a pain if it is in a bed room but they can be hidden

This item works very well, does exactly what it should, is well made, and the switch function is very smooth, and the timer is simple and easy to use. The only slight negative if it is one is that the small lights (red to show power input is on and green to show power output is on) are quite bright and could possibly disturb you while in a dark bedroom. Doesn't mean I detract any stars and hasn't stopped me from buying another one too. If it's needed I will cover the lights with a small translucent sticker to reduce the amount of light coming from the switch.

The unit seems well made and works fine, easy to program and override etc. The only thing to be aware of is that you will need a deep back box to house it, and if using a surface mounting, the fit is very snug around the faceplate retaining screw holes. Otherwise a nice product.

I fitted the timer switch to an existing fused spare with the aid of a YouTube video, however it is recommended that you us a qualified electrician. It works fine and is easy to program, very happy with it.

Straightforward to install and set up (clear instructions) and relatively simple to operate. Have had one connected to a towel rail for several years. This one bought to use with immersion heater to take advantage of cheap overnight electricity. Unfortunately had to return the first delivery as it had a small fault but Amazon return was quick and easy, and the replacement is working fine.

I've recently installed a 235VAC 200 watt heated towel rail (HTR) in my caravan's shower-room area. I chose this time-switch so that I could arrange for the HTR to be activated automatically in the morning to take any chill off the shower room (not an issue right now - UK heatwaves during July-August 2022 😎 - but just preparing for autumnal use 🥶 ) and thereby reduce the effects of condensation building up. This is of course in addition to having a nice warm towel first thing! Easy to install / program and highly recommended.
