Good clean fun. Enjoyed visiting India. A classic all should read who enjoy mysteries. Would highly recommend to all mystery lovers.

Nice stories, with the process of deduction well explained however many of them seem to have an abrupt ending.

Keeping me glued to the book.

Last time I read translated Feluda stories was more than twenty years ago. The stories were great and they still are. I picked up the kindle edition of this omnibus couple weeks ago and find the translation is dated. The obvious evil is an overt use of adverbs such as ‘totally’, ‘really’, ‘obviously’ and other fillers such as ‘in fact’. As Stephen King said, “I believe the road to hell is paved with adverbs”.If one picks up any story and run it through grammarly then perhaps you’ll notice translation have a lot of filler words. By no means this is a criticism of translator but as we all know reader sensibilities change over time. I hope penguin take this as a constructive criticism and update the translations. The stories themselves are timeless.

I'm writing from my mom's account, and my great uncle ordered me the first two books. I would 100% recommend this book to anyone who likes action and drama. At my school, that's most people. I personally love crime stories because you never know what is happening next. These short stories have so much detail, and that is why I love this book. I don't want to spoil anything, but the main character Feluda, is a genius. He and his cousin Topshe (Tapesh) go on adventures that are unimaginable. They also encounter a crime writer named Lalmohan Babu, who provides all the humor for this book. If you are interested in reading this book, DON'T HESITATE.

I’m an avid reader and have read multiple thrillers till now...while I appreciate the writing skills of various authors...the literary excellence of Ray is exceptional! Every single story in this book is amazingly vivid and keeps you glued to the pages. The intellectual capabilities and bravado of Feluda never fails to amaze you...it’s a priced collection for a thriller lover!
