I don’t know exactly how these loops work, but they sure do. I have one on right now. I’ve had a frozen shoulder for months. Any which way I try to move it, it’s unbelievably painful. I bought one of these for Christmas and was so impressed, I bought four more to have when this one dies. You don’t feel a thing - no heat, no tingling, nothing, which made me think it wasn’t working. However hours later I realized that for the first time in months, my shoulder was pain-free. Hours after I took it off I noticed that some pain and stiffness had returned so I put it on again the next day. After about a week of daily use, I can honestly say that my pain has reduced significantly to the point that I don’t need to wear it daily anymore, enabling me to use it on other areas of my body for pain relief. I just put this in my pocket and it’s good to go for pain relief on my hip or glute. It comes with adhesive tape to be able to use it on spots where you can’t tuck it into your clothing so it is quite versatile. I have never used it continuously, I push the button and turn it on and off and it lasts a really long time. However, I was told by a friend I gave one to that they used it continuously and it lasts a month. It’s an excellent value for your money! Very effective and durable. I have accidentally left it in my jeans and laundered it and it survived. While I don’t recommend doing that regularly it’s good to know it is durable enough if you accidentally laundered it. Super effective relief! Highly recommend.

I have to say that I am very skeptical with trying new things however with a background in electronics and automation I understand more about how this device functions after doing some research. Its 100% drug free and safe. I fractured my fifth metatarsal bone 3 weeks ago and was given an air cast. I cannot say enough good things about this device. I first bought it several months after 7 disc neck fusion surgery and it provided no relief at all so I sent it back. (But I think it is understandable because that is a different type of pain) Several years later after reading reviews about it I decided I would give it another try and it is the best purchase I have made in years. I’ve purchased at least 20 of them and have only had a problem with 3. 2 of them turned on and I could not get them to turn off so the battery just drained, 1 I placed on my neck when I was in pain and did not get any relief and I was kind of surprised because I had received pain relief in that same spot for the same reason before so I switched it out with another one and the new one immediately gave me some relief. I’m almost afraid that this company will go out of business or they will run out that is why I purchased so many. I get 10 more from Amazon tomorrow. I let my sister use one and she did not even realize it, but for the first time in a long time, she was sitting there without any pain deep in her hip. She was very skeptical and did not think it would work because of how deep the pain was, but it did provide relief. I’ve used these on my knees, hip, SI joint, muscles by my shoulder blades, low back and my neck and I have received relief in each of those locations (in each of those locations the pain is caused by several different reasons from bone, muscle, degenerative disc disease etc!)
