This zip up hoodie is a nice and heavy and very warm. It’s comfortable and easy to move in. It is very oversized though. I am 5’10” 205lbs and normally get sweatshirts in an XL, as I like some extra space, but the XL was way too big in the sleeves and the waist. I exchanged and sized down to a L and the fit is great. I love hoodies. Over the past few years, it’s been exceedingly difficult for me to find a quality hoodie. A classic hoodie that’s got a nice weight, is roomy, doesn’t hug me tightly and is high quality. My under armour and adidas hoodie are great but they are geared towards athletes, thin, stretchy, high quality fabric, but very form fitting. I’m old school. I’m from the 90’s where hoodies were meant to be somewhat baggy and a bit thick but not micro fibre soft etc or spandex.. this Carhartt hoodie hits it out of the park. I’m 5’2 and I bought the large. Yes it’s baggy but that’s what makes hoodies awesome! I’m sure the medium would be just as comfortable, but the large is perfect for me. I want something where I can just chill around the house in pure comfort. My wife has her Sherpa blankets and sweaters.. I’ve got my Carhartt. I’m definitely buying more of these bad boys. Totally worth the high price.
