Plenty of volume for most uses, and decent, clear sound
I wanted to add better sound to my TV. I wasn't looking for surround sound or anything high end; I have that on another TV. I just wanted better sound than comes from the tiny TV speakers in a room that is not very acoustically friendly. This turned out to be perfect.I have an Amazon Fire TV Cube plugged into the HDMI of the television. I wanted a simple optical cable out of the TV to a soundbar so that the original TV sound would play if needed along with the soundbar, or the soundbar could be left turned off and we'd still get sound from the original TV. Nothing fancy. (in other words, I didn't want the soundbar to be between the Fire Cube and the TV set if I could avoid it, so that the original TV remote/sound would still function if needed)At first I had problems with the volume like other reviews mentioned. I turned the TV set volume up to full and the sound bar volume up to full as well, and it was just not very loud. I was going to return it, but then I decided to reprogram the Fire Cube to control the soundbar volume via the Amazon remote. Once I did that, the Cube seemed to know how to control the soundbar and the volume control worked perfectly. No need to crank everything up loud, and I can still use the TV sound by itself if I want to. With other configurations, the Fire Cube doesn't send the sound to the TV and reroutes it to the soundbar only. This way, I have my cake and eat it too, and it sounds great.I'm still scratching my head why setting it up for IR control made any difference at all. This brand wasn't listed as a setup choice. I just picked "other" for the brand and had to manually program the Cube to know the IR codes. But once it knew them, it was a completely different experience and I was very happy with the sound and the volume.

Excellent Value and AMAZING CUSTOMER SUPPORT
UPDATE FROM ORIGINAL REVIEW - I added another star for the customer support!! The sound issues are about the same. I was finally able to access the 3 EQ settings, but I'm not HEARING any difference in the sound quality. It could be due to having an older TV. But this unit absolutely solved my TV sound issues, and it is a great value for a very compact sound bar. But the most amazing thing is the quality and level of customer support I got from the Wohome team. We rarely see that in the world we live in today. Their consistent communication and instructional suggestions, and willingness to ship cables to me in Boquete Panama to test, is to be APPLAUDED!!!!!!!Original review from June 2021 -Only gets 3 stars but could be changed. For a 20" soundbar, has pretty good sound quality. But I got it to improve the sound of my tv using a firestick. Since it is not listed as a compatible soundbar in the firestick settings, I had to jerry-rig the connection for it to work. But in doing so, there is no access to the other sound adjustments the instructions say are available. So not getting full benefit. Great price though!

BEST BUDGET SOUND BAR ON THIS WEBSITE, GREAT COMPANY!
I never leave reviews, but this was worth my time.Hope this is Helpful!Listen, I am a college student, gamer, and avid music listener. I don't have a crazy budget, so any piece I can slowly acquire to build my setup has to work and work right away for a long time. I admit I have only had the sound bar a few days, but I am MORE than impressed with the punch that this small sound bar packs.Three different modes make it easy to find the sound quality that fits the media in which I am consuming. A more voice and speaking focused setting is perfect for my podcasts, the music setting obviously is an eq that best fits any music you are listening to. And my favorite setting? The movie setting with the 3D audio effect turned on. Sitting underneath my monitor, this setting is PERFECT for any game you are playing when you are tired of wearing your damn headset. Apex legends has been fantastic to play and that games audio SUCKS!Like I said, this bar sits under my monitor. Via optical audio ports, the bar is connected to my xbox, and via aux cable to my pc, as well as bluetooth to my phone. ONE press of a button on the device or remote seamlessly switches between each setting. No extra speakers, and no more bad audio quality from my monitor. This is a HUGE step up in audio for someone that only has so much to work with, and this company will take care of any and all problems in a swift manor. Excited to use this for football games very soon.

Great for my small bedroom
(Edited to add: I'm reducing my star count to 3 stars. While the Soundbar works great, and the sound is just right for my bedroom, the remote control is a nightmare. You often have to push buttons 4 or 5 times before they work. It's not very responsive. Turning the volume up or down, switching between inputs, etc are all so frustrating because of the awful remote.)Very easy setup, and it sounds good in my small bedroom. It was just what I was looking for to help with the poor sound quality of my black-Friday WalMart telelvision.

Great Improvement for the Money
We wanted to start listening to Spotify and other music through our TV -- our little separate sound system for our CDs was starting to fail and getting a new system/unit was more pricey than we wanted to spend right now. And we don't have a lot of space for a long, massive sound bar.So this fit the bill, and in our space and for the price, it is pretty darn good. We are pleased.Note that at least on our TV (a Vizio using FireTV) you have to separately turn on the sound bar so you need two remotes. If you try to adjust the sound with the Fire TV remote, a little notice flashes on the screen to remind you that you can't do it with that remote. But it's a pretty small thing, all things considered. There are a couple of different sound settings (music, movie and something...) but I can't tell that much difference in the sound. It would be nice to have more volume occasionally but, again, we weren't looking for a super surround-sound experience or incredible bass.I'd buy this again as a solution for our needs. It's compact, reasonably priced and provides us with an improved sound experience.
