I don't know, all I know is that this is the BEST bathmat I have ever had. Google Yimobra PVC and perhaps the question could be answered.

do you need to pre wash this mat the first time? not really any directions on the package or mat?

Thanks for your questions, we commend wash it before the first time use. Because our bath and shower mat need to experience a long journey (shipped on the sea and delivery by Amazon), to arrive in your hand. It is better to lay it in the place with flowing air and wash it when you get it.(machine washable save your time)

Is the mat slippery on top when standing on it? Need for disabled...is it safe

Thanks so much for your question. Our bathtub mat isn't slippery on the top when standing on, the top contact surface is designed with anti slip texture and there are 260 special big suction cups, which can help you stand easily on the top. I think it is very safe for the disabled. Hope can help you.
