Can i order just the handle? i have several of these carts i use for work. i need 6 replacement handles.

Take an old one to a good metal shop they can make one for you longer shorter anything you need

Would this work well for a 500 pound welder

I use it for a 400 pound, 10,000 watt generator so I can haul it round my yard with my lawn tractor. No reason your welder wouldn't be fine, as long as it fits.

I have a 550lb Kubota generator. 42 long 24 w x 27 high. will this hold it??

This cart is raided at 1200lbs but I would not put that much weight in it but your 550lbs should be ok. I put quarter inch plywood on bottom cut to size because the floor it has the weld would break if you do not reinforce it.
