GBT-4-IW (4 port in-wall model)
Review of the GBT-4-IW. I used this to replace a wall jack which had 1 PoE jack. Now I have 4 PoE jacks. Zero configuration required, and it fit the existing wall hole perfectly. Everything started working immediately. My only complaint is that the price is a bit high, since you can now buy 1 to 4 PoE extenders for about half what this model costs; however this is a special form factor, and seems to be quality, so I think the moral is "you get what you pay for". Recommended!

Easy and convenient
This was super easy to install and made a quick way to expand ports in a room with a single cable. I'd definitely get this again for my next project.

Very interesting solution, where there are none
This is a neat and elegant solution.I needed to run additional CAT6 lines into a room in my house to support multiple hard-wired devices behind my wall mounted TV, but I lacked an easy path to run those lines without cutting holes in my drywall. Additionally, I did not want to have a bulky ethernet switch behind my TV. This product resolved both of those problems. Installs like a receptacle in your wall, it's concealed and it provides 4 runs from a single connection. Thumbs up to the design team!

Great little device!
I have it set up in an environment where I'm pushing power from a PoE switch to it, then running 2-3 IP cameras off of the Texas Extender. Works GREAT!

Good device, held back by lack of control
I previously gave a poor review because this device would die when plugged into my desktop. I'm retracting that because it's not entirely this device's fault, but there are some improvements that would have helped. The issue I encountered is that, when this devices was powered by a Uniquiti POE switch, my desktop would overdraw the Ubiquiti, and this device would lose power and connectivity entirely. Why my desktop was drawing from POE, I have no idea, and it's honestly frustrating, but beyond my control. I used a USB-to-ethernet adapter (instead of the motherboard's ethernet port) so my desktop couldn't draw power from this deviceWhich brings me back to this device. Without further adieu, here's my review:- With my overdraw problem fixed, this device is working fine and both my laptop and desktop can get a full gigabit (to share).- The build quality is solid, and installation was easy. There's really nothing else on the market that offers what this device does, so I'm happy to find something that gets me more network ports, without needing an outlet or extra box.- I wish this device had some control interface (via LAN connection, physical switches, etc) that would let me disable its POE output on certain ports. That way I could've plugged my desktop in without POE, instead of needing the USB dongle.- I haven't tried it, but I'm skeptical this could really power four POE devices (based on other reviews). So I really think there's no reason all four ports had to be POE. One POE port and three non-POE ports (or two-and-two) would also have saved me from my overdraw problems.Overall, I still recommend this product, but I do want to warn readers that you're stuck with POE on every port, and that can sometimes cause issues.

A pricey, but dependable option for certain situations
Compared to managed switches such as the new Unifi Flex switch (which sadly has been out of stock for some time now), this "dumb" switch is not the best value. You will be limited to all the ports having the same untagged VLAN, and no ability to power cycle individual devices. However, this is still a great option in certain situation, especially when "someone" installs too small of a conduit and additional PoE devices are needed ;).The form factor is great, though be aware than it's too deep for a standard electrical box. An extra deep trim ring was used in my case, and I have also removed the grounding lug in the back, as it was interfering with conduit entering the 4" box.

Just what I needed
I need a very un-intrusive way to power a Poe Network Access Point while still allowing two more device to connect to a single network jack. This unit did that VERY nicely.

Don't buy
Worked good for 6 months, then network connectivity issues started and would randomly cause poe device to restart. Only one poe device connected, Wireless AP. Went back to using a powered poe switch and no issues.
