Phone is New Condition and Unlocked
I was worried the phone wouldn’t be unlocked due to all the negative reviews but the phone indeed was unlocked just had to go on my metro account and click use number under new device and that was it switch the SIM card over and the phone works lovely.It is not slow, calls are great, phone does not freeze, battery life has been great. Definitely worth the price.

Not as advertised
No, it was NOT unlocked. I took it to the Consumer Cellular Rep at Target to transfer my old phone. It opened up to a LOCKED Verizon phone and he could do nothing. This vendor wasted 5 days of my time and I still had no phone. I bought the A13 while I was at Target and walked out a happy customer. I won't deal with "renewed" again. Loving my NEW A13.

Consumer Cellular works well with unlock for AT&T
It has been working fine for two full days, since setup.I performed backups of old phone, powered it down pulled Consumer Cellular SIM card and moved it over to the refurbished, powered down phone. They provided a tool to open the SD card and after restoring data onto the new phone, it seems everything is working well.

Works for my Son, but there are issues.
Purchased this phone for my son, and it works as needed for the price. A refurbished phone is always a mixed bag, and the phone received does operate slowly (even with basic tasks if there are a few apps open), and the battery doesn't keep a charge long enough to last an entire day. He can still keep up with his work and play games on it though, so it serves its purpose.Overall, I would still say the phone was worth $100 (compared to a new-phone alternative) as a functional phone for my son, but it wasn't received in the greatest condition.

The media could not be loaded. This is not charging no matter what I do. It came and I plugged it in and was not charging after much fighting it charged. And I've been trying to charge it again and nothing. I contacted customer service and they transfered me 50 times. Called and they refused to help they kept saying technical support is not available and that I can't get a refund. And rhat they don't have a call back option. DO NOT BUY
