Pocket knife!
Great knife for the price. I usually buy the spiderco for a small pocket knife but the price has gotten out of hand!! Good size and quality!!

One tragic flaw, but a nice little knife
THE GOODThe blade is nice and sharp - perfect for opening boxes. I like how I can open the knife with one hand. I work at an office and I open boxes all the time - this knife is perfect for that - teeny tiny, not intimidating at all, but is sharp and reliable. It is a great little utility knife. This has become part of my craft knife set and is great for when you need something sharp, but more substantial than an exacto.SAFETY CONSIDERATIONSIt is secure, but as it states it's a double-detent, so it does not fully lock. It is not spring-assisted, but can be flicked open fairly easily, it stays securely closed until you open it. You can close it with a little pressure, but it's secure enough to stay in place during use. It's very small, so be careful when opening it as the blade's tip can catch your palm if you are holding it in your hand - it's not enough to cut you, but enough for you to notice. You should be careful with any knife, but especially so with this one.WHAT TO DO IN V2This knife is keychain knife sized, but has no real mounting point for a keychain. This is a tragic flaw since this knife is excellent and I do not want to lose it... but I'm clumsy and it's tiny, so I fear that I eventually will lose this knife. I'd like to see the same exact knife, just packaged with an alternate clip that's just a loop so that I can securely attach it to my keys. That one change would make this little knife perfect.

Ki-V is hard for me to handle.
This Ki-V is my 3rd Civivi blade and I can honestly say I am a fan of the brand, but this offering is definitely not my favorite. The other two are the Praxis button lock, and the Pragma. Both very comfortable in my hand, this one, not so much.. It's small and awkward, I've owned it for an hour and have 3 cuts on my fingers already. I'm sure with practice I'll learn how to handle it. As far as quality goes 5 stars, I'll say it's heirloom quality (someone will inherit this knife). A little stiff out of the box. Like it, don't love it. It is what it's supposed to be though; small and sassy.

Surprisingly awesome.
Bought this for my retail work cutting packaging, ect. Color me impressed Civivi. So far I've purchased this knife and the mini Praxus and im impressed with both. The ki-v is one of the best budget knife options out there, with very little to complain about.Pros-The blade shape. I wasn't convinced on this sort of tanto-edge shape, but it is no slouch. The edge. I don't think I've ever purchased a knife for sub $75 that came shaving sharp from the factory, but this thing shaved the hair right off of my arm easily. No sharpening required out of the box, for me. Your experience may vary depending on who was on the grinder that day at the shop, but mine came razor sharp.Fantastic g10 handle slabs, with good ergonomics. The front flip is a little stiff at first but after 15 minutes of flipping it's smooth as butter.Clip is stiff, which is good.Extremely light, which it should be for a small knife.Cons-This knife does not have a traditional lock. There is a detent where the blade will "lock" when the blade is extended, but a little pressure on the top of the blade will push it out of alignment. Not the biggest deal, especially because you won't be bushcrafting or batoning a knife this small, but it isn't as sturdy as a knife with a liner lock, ect.Pocket clip isn't reversible for tip down carry, again it's a small knife so there isn't really room for it anyways, but I prefer tip down carry. The gimping on the blade isn't really as rough as I'd prefer, my finger can slide over it really easily.Overall, this knife is fantastic, I'd absolutely buy another. I'll be purchasing more Civivi in the future.

Love this little knife, now my EDC
Why did I buy this knife to EDC.I work on different customer sites every day installing computers and network equipment, This means I mostly open shipping boxes. I came to realize that I don't need to carry a big knife to do that, but also wanted a pocket knife could do more than that. What I like about this little knife after 3 months of EDC with it:It is really sharp and continues to hold it's edgeEasy to operate, open and closeQuality clip that is easy to use on different thickness of jeans, uniform pants, coat pockets and clips to mytool bag too. This knife stays in place once it is clipped onIt's a conversation starterGood lookingEasy to concealGood gripsOne hand open once you get the hang of itLight weightDrop tested by me 8 feetNice action to openDurable as the black coating is holding up wellComes with a cool sticker, box and cleaning patchFast shippingThis is a quality product and I will buy from this brand again.
