The aroma of this Southern Pecan Praline flavored coffee is honestly amazing. The moment you open the bag and start brewing it, the smell fills the room in the best possible way. It has that sweet pecan and praline scent without smelling overly artificial or overpowering. The roast itself is very smooth and easy to drink. I wouldn’t necessarily call it an extra strong or super bold coffee, but that’s actually part of what I liked about it. It has a mellow flavor profile that works really well with flavored creamers without either one overpowering the other. If you like experimenting with different creamers, syrups, or sweeteners, this coffee pairs with them really nicely. As far as effects or caffeine kick, I didn’t notice anything drastically different compared to other coffees. It is not super strong, but it's definitely coffee! It’s simply a really enjoyable flavor from a good, reliable brand. Sometimes that’s all you want out of a flavored coffee: something smooth, comforting, and easy to keep reaching for every morning. And this definitely checks those boxes for me.

THIS! I have been sampling coffees for years. I’ve bought them by the lb, already ground, grinding my own beans, using a Keurig, a drip coffee pot and a French Press. I’ve bought a bag of every kind of Starbucks they sell, I have tried expensive coffee, cheap coffee, regularly priced coffee, off brand coffee and specialty coffees. After years of searching I can finally say I found it. But it has to be prepared just like this to be perfect: buy an already ground bag of Community Coffee Southern Pecan Praline. The bag cannot sit around for weeks after opening. So cut open a new bag of this coffee, fill a tiny empty Keurig cup (they sell them for this reason) but don’t pack coffee into the little cup. Fill it to the top of Keurig cup, fill machine with a cup of spring water. Turn on Keurig and let it happen. Take the coffee cup as soon as it is brewed (be sure you have turned Keurig to “strong”). And top it off only with half and half. Cream once in a while for a treat. Milk is too weak and watery for this coffee. And make sure you don’t use any Coffee Mate or flavoring. Waa-laa. You have a hot, creamy cup of coffee so perfect, so unblemished that you can taste the pralines. 5 giant starts because so few things in life are perfect.

Yummmmmmy! I'm always on the lookout for unique flavored coffees, so I decided to try Community Coffee Southern Pecan Praline in the 12oz bag. From the first cup, I was hooked! I like that this coffee isn't overly strong—it's light, balanced, and very drinkable. The flavor is smooth and rich with delicious notes of sweet praline and roasted pecans without being overly sweet. The aroma alone makes my kitchen smell amazing while it's brewing. It's the perfect coffee for a cozy morning, and I enjoy it just as much black as I do with a splash of cream. If you're a fan of flavored coffee, this one is definitely worth trying!

I have always rather liked community coffee, but have spent the past 30 years insisting on espresso and cappuccino and using my delightful Italian machines and fine Italian Lavazza beans, roasting mine own... etc.. I give this blend and flavor one less star because it is not my favorite blend.. not because the coffee is substandard in any way.. It is not... just not my favorite. I recently went back to a percolator (partially out of nostalgia) and have been parusing the older brands because of this. (Fine quality, high end coffee doesn't really do well in a percolator. You need coffee that grew up around them, or you will end up with tea instead of Proper Kaffee). Soooooo once again.. back to the old tried and true brands. I am a bit of a purist when it comes to coffee. The only flavors I ever really enjoyed were Swiss Chocolate Almond (Must have real almonds and not just flavoring, and be properly rolled in Callebaut Cocoa) and Hazelnut, but I thought about giving this a try. Do keep in mind that I am very.. Very.. well acquainted with coffee after workiing at Gloria Jean's Coffee Bean with over 50 different kinds of coffee at my disposal and being ToTaLLy spoiled working on that wonderful old Gaggia with the three brass domes and the eagle on top. Very... spoiled.. almost coffee snob spoiled... I can make virtually any kind of coffee anyone wants kind of spoiled. It is very much, a passion of mine. Community is a good old tried and true standard brand from Louisana that was founded near the turn of last century in 1919 by a certain Norman "Cap" Saurage, in downtown Baton Rouge -so it is now 106 years old.. I like the Cafe special the best, and the dark roast second -at this time.. The Southern Pecan is almost like putting incense or aromatherapy into the air -the smell is so strong.. In this way it reminds me of Jamacia Blue Mountain and how it is mostly smell and very little taste. The Southern Pecan is also a very mild, more of a "City Roast" coffee. The first pot in the old perk (that i nicknamed ""The Kerpolator 9000"" heh) turned out more like tea, and the smell was overpowering for my "Super Smeller" nose. The fragrance was so strong that it triggered my synesthesia, and generated strong caramel and pecan colors and thoughts of pralines --like it is supposed to. I tasted it and it's not bad, but again is about 65% smell. The coffee itself is mild enough that you could drink it black - no sugar, so that means the remarks I have read are true; that it is also easy on the stomach. Too much sugar would ruin this already naturally sweet coffee. The ground variety of this coffee is fine enough to be sort of between auto drip and espresso, so it will work in just about anything without regrinding (Espresso does need a bit of a finer grind). I decided that this would go best today with some Safr Cheese and deluxe crackers, instead of somethig like a nice toasted croissant, and I am pleased to say I was correct. I might also serve this with chocolate biscotti for those wioth a sweet tooth, but never with other types of cookies. "Flavorists" might rate this coffee around an 8.5 out of 10.. Purists like me are more incliend to say 7 out of 10.. I so love coffee... and know A LOT about it.. Both coffee, and chocolate, and tea are three of the finest things on earth.. to be sure, as certain as possible, and true. This blend overall is not bad.. but I will have to use it more sparingly as an accent coffee. My personal preference is the Cafe Special in the community line.. Namaste and enjoy

I look forward to this ambrosial coffee every morning. The heavenly aroma, delectably smooth flavor and very reasonable price makes a great start to any morning. It blends well with decaf if a lower caffeine content /lower strength is desired. This is my preferred ground coffee brand now.

This coffee is delicious! Some flavored coffees barely have any flavor. They taste fake or very light with the flavor they claim to be. That is not the case with this coffee. It has a wonderful flavor, just enough to tell its not plain coffee, doesn't taste fake. Great with a little milk and sugar! This blows other well known brands out of the water! It's very smooth and the strength is just right!

It's not very good, but it's not horrible. I drank it with nothing in it, thought maybe if I added some things, I would buy it again, because I drink it to wake up, that's the only thing I drink it for, it does smell good, it is kind of bitter to me, but I make it really strong, not that bad though for the price, it's worth it
