Dear Friend, After folding into the closet, the length of the ironing board is about 17 inches, width 14 inches, height 6 inches; And after the ironing board is fully pulled out, its total length is 48 inches. If the length of the track is not counted, the length of the working area is 32 inches.

Does this drawer-like mechanism lock in the open position so that it doesn’t move when being used?

The ironing board must be fixed in cabinet plate with screws. When you pull out and open it, you can tighten the black knob at the bottom of the ironing board,then it will not move
